| The original creator has improved his art work, now we can see how the anime can be with his new style. You can keep watching the old one and watch the new one, but if the original creator now is using a new style, why you need to hate it? It's a original creator art in the original anime. We can't hate that. It's not a copy. |

Old Shaman King style is Unique, even among early 00's aniime. New Shaman King style... looks less distinctive compared to most modern anime, with exceptions of character designs which are practically the same, i do hope to see same old silly overexagerrated designs that i love in late 90's and early 00's shounen like One Piece, Rave Master, Jing King of Thieves and Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo.     I hope they will keep those awesome face-faults, it's one of reasons i became an otaku in the first place. Because Japanese Animation and Manga have best face-faults. I do hope they won't turn the new anime to be ULTRA-EPIC as most modern anime... I wish it would keep the sillyness. The music in today's anime just ruins it... it sounds to pretentiously Epic that it feels not fun... too much hollywood-ish. Every time a dramatic moment in today's anime happens i feel bored... yet somehow dramatic moments from 80's and 90's anime keep me on edge. I cannot define why, but i just feel it, it's what my heart tells me. |

The English OPs were my main reason for watching the shows 😂 I only started watching them last year even though I saw them airing on TV a long time ago. OT: yeah I prefer the old art style/darker palette even though I didn't grow up with the original show or read the manga, the characters look more unique/stand out more?? The people hating on OP are annoying. |

| I am okay with new designs. Only that the characters' heads drawn bigger than the body compared to the original ones and body perspective between characters in one panel are slightly off. This is not a chibi anime style (even Manta is not chibi) So the same original creator art doing this? I would rather want him to do a sequel than a remake for this. It totally ruined the starting of the series for sure. |

| I like them better. Someone said this is like the Yu-Gi-Oh manga when it started and when it finished, and I really do agree. Though I think SK's early artwork was still decent, unlike YGO. To be totally frank though, they don't really even look THAT different to me. I mean it's like 5% difference for me, so the fact people are screeching like it ruined the show is pretty baffling to me. But I will say I am against censoring Chocolove's design, all to appeal to the vocal and extreme minority of easily offended crybaby snowflakes on social media. Fuck that notion every day of the week. Never bend to them. It's not a bad design, but it honestly looks nothing like him at all. I don't even see the same character. He's the only one though. |
