Definitely.

i just have sure about my top 3, that changed in 2017, that is:

1. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
2. One Piece
3. Naruto/Shippuuden

for my last 2 i think i'll put:

4. Code Geass Hangyaku No Lelouch/ R2
5. Top Wo Nerae series (Gunbuster and Diebuster)

i think the Gundam, Macross and Pretty Cure series can be put in my top 10, but since i recently get into this series i'll not put this in my top yet

Of course! As I keep watching new anime, I keep discovering new ones that I really really like, and are better than my current top 5. my #5 is now Kaiji: Ultimate survivor, that I only watched about a month ago, I also haven't seen the 2nd season which means that one could also enter in my tops. I will also sometimes move around mt existing list as time passes. Right now I'm rewatching paranoia agent, and I see that it's better than I originally thought, that's why it's likely to move from #10 to somewhere in the top 5. If you don't stop watching anime, I think lists are naturally dynamic because you always discover something new you like.

my current top 10 copied from my profile:

1. Monster
2. Death Note
3. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni / Kai
4. Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin
5. Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor
6. Steins;Gate
7. Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2
8. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
9. Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu
10. Paranoia Agent

Last time it changed was the entry of Shin Sekai Yori about 8 years ago. But all it needs is for something else sufficiently good to come along. The five best anime from decades of history is tough competition.

Yes. Removed Toxicity from my Top 5.

This allowed TTGL to enter my Top 5 and I am really happy about that. :)

As for my top 10, recently I re-watched this and realized how damn good it actually was. Went straight up to #7!

I also got to re-watch this and I was surprised that I actually adore the characters so much. It went up by a couple of spots!

So, yeah. Both my Top 5 and Top 10 changed.

i don't really do anything with my profile.

I just have a top 3, and no it doesn't change. I don't even use the list portion of this website. I used the list once to show someone what I was watching at that very moment. IIRC it wasn't even everything I watched that season, and it was then and there I knew it would be too much of a hassle to keep up with it.

These days I've been keeping up with 30 anime at a time year-round, and it's been that way for years.

I rarely use this site.

I'm really new to anime (compared to everyone here), only watching for about 1 and a half years, so yes it changes a lot, so I'm only going to list my first and current Top 5

My first Top 5 (after watching for about 6 months):
1. One Piece (Manga)
2. A Place Further Than The Universe (Anime)
3. Youjo Senki (Anime)
4. Assassination Classroom [Both Seasons Combined] (Anime)
5. Working!! [All 3 Seasons Combined] (Anime)

Current Top 5:
1. One Piece (Manga)
2. A Place Further Than The Universe (Anime)
3. Oyasumi Punpun (Manga)
4. Monogatari Series [All Watched Seasons Combined(have only completed about 90% of it)] (Anime)
5. Madoka Magica (Anime)

I'm constantly grooming my list to keep it bell-shaped, and to incorporate new stuff. While the extreme scores tend to change less frequently than the "belly" of the curve, they are not special. My taste develops, why should I care for my ratings of yesterday?

Sometimes yes. My top 5 went like this at first:
1. Boku no Hero
2. Princess Tutu
3. Fullmetal Alchemist
4. The World God Only Knows
5. Konosuba

But I noticed that FMA did not really hit high for me and while I used to like MHA a lot, I can now clearly see its flaws. Then I watched several other anime and realized that I don't really like most battle shonen. So now, I ranked them in terms of personal attachment and it goes like this:
1. Baccano (this show will always be no 1 for me no matter what)
2. Princess Tutu (still unchanged)
3. The World God Only Knows (still in the list but a bit higher)
4. Code Geass
5. Haruhi Suzumiya

Konosuba is still in my favorites list, but it's now in the number 10 spot.

Since I started as a little child, I hope they changed a lot, but Inuyasha and Digimon will have a place in my heart for my whole fangirl-life, so ... until I die, I guess. Also Mononoke Hime and a few other movies. If I think that they are good - great, then I will hold on the nostalgia for some anime.

I don't even know, if there is just one anime at the top. I would call a few others my favorites too, but at the top (if I have to choose), there are D.Gray-man and Noragami.
Recently Kimetsu no Yaiba also entered that list and some others I really like, but they aren't in my top 10 or top 5.

Mine do. I've noticed that over time I forget the depth and intensity I had for shows I watched years ago, and newer shows replace my favourites. A few years ago Log Horizon, Magi & To Love Ru were some of my favourites, but I haven't thought about them in ages.

I don't think it's a bad thing to have fluid favourites, as the shows that we enjoy most and call our favourites are bound to change over time as we watch new shows each season and talk about them. That said, there are some shows which do stand the test of time, and will remain a persons favourite, usually due to the the way a particular show resonated on a personal level and unique experience they had whilst watching it.

For me Konosuba always comes to mind, it was a show that made me smile at a time in my life that I was going through some hard times, so I have a particular fondness for the show and its characters.

My lists as a whole change very often. I'm not a very nostalgic person so what I like currently in the moment tends to be what's on my tops. A few things stay just because they are ones I can watch more than once which is rare: Howl's Moving Castle, Blue Submarine Number 6, Mushishi, and Perfect Blue.

I'm still pretty new to anime as a whole, so my top 5 seems to be changing all the time. Like as of last year I hadn't even seen enough anime to even construct a top 5. Right now its:

1. Mob Psycho 100
2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
3. Mo Dao Zu Shi
4. My Hero Academia
5. One Punch Man

But that's still super subject to change.

It doesn't often,but it has.

I had to remove One Piece from my top 10 entirely. The anime has just gone downhill way too much. Other then that, the only movement was Koe No Katachi moving Made In Abyss out of the top 5.

HXH (2011)
Clannad After Story
Koe No Katachi

The top 3 however, most likely will never change.

Yes, it has, but it tends to be pretty stable.

Current top 5: Dragon Ball + Z, Digimon Adventure, Saint Seiya (including the 2002 Hades Sanctuary OVA), Hunter x Hunter (1999) and Sailor Moon (all 5 series represented by the first one).

Previously included in top 5 (since joining MAL): Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion.

My top 5 has always been a mix of these only 8 titles.

My almost never changes with isint a good thing. Since 2011 I added only Gintama. Few shows come close though, Konosuba, Made in Abyss, Jojo part 5 (with may be wierd since i score this 10/10 and my Top 10,9 and 8 are 9/10 but it makes sense to me)
And i dont see it changing soon, since i read more manga nowadays and I dont watch adaptations of material that i read (its extrimly boring to me, I already know story and everything)
My current Top 10:
10. Black Lagoon
9. Hellsing Ultimate
8. Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
7. Gintama
6. Baccano!!! and Durarara!!! (Join spot)
5. Clannad After Story
4. Steins;Gate
3. Cowboy Bebop
2. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
1. Monster
3 setps to become Masochist:
1. Read source material
2. Watch anime adaptation
3. Suffer
Bonus Step: Tell everyone that anime is crap becouse Manga/Novel is better (duh..)

How to find the worst trash anime ever, so bad that people should be ashamed for even knowing this trash exist:
1. Check your favorite anime
2. Enjoy your shit taste pleb

So my top 3 are Shinsekai Yori, Hunter x Hunter and Kara no Kyoukai, but there is some things like Steins Gate and Jojo that could be up there as well. One piece was pretty close to top 5 but the anime is bad and the manga good, so...

The only spot that has been added to my top 5 since pretty much 2015 was Hunter x Hunter, which I recently finished and both manga and anime are incredible.

My top 5 changes often but it's usually cycling in and out some shows in my top 10 that I have rewatched. I also don't include anime I have only seen once in my top 5 since a favorite should be something I actively go back to. My top 5 anime are naturally listed in my favorites section of my profile and the anime that cycle out with them on occasion are Princess Principle, Revue Starlight, Slayers, HXH, and New Game.
