We talking in terms of narrative? If that's the case, how? Thematically? Mawaru Penguindrum or Wolf's Rain. In terms of tight plot? Eh, I'll just quit bitching and say Mawaru Penguindrum. |

| It's Hyouka for me. I watched it during my years in junior high. Basically during the first time I got into anime. It has been irreplaceable ever since, and I have watch plenty of things (some I forgot the name to even put it on my list). It's not an action anime, nor it's something flashy or tremendously funny or stuff like that. It's a slice of life anime with a main protag that seems like a lazy person lol. Idk, the things that Hyouka shows resonate within me. I was so similar with Oreki back then, the anime felt really relatable for me. And KyoAni have this way of making the smallest and the most insignificant things looks beautiful with the way they animate everything... But Hyouka is my favorite out of all favorite, as for the best one (imo)...i'd say Neon Genesis Evangelion... (my english is bad sorry for that^~^/) |

| Mine would probably be Tsuki ga kirei or As the Moon, so Beautiful. Not too many people know of it since it's pretty underrated but I actually enjoyed it a lot, the story was generic for your typical school romance life but their interactions with each other and their relationship is actually pretty realistic making you reminisce your school life, it rarely has any cliches or trope and those factors was what ultimately decided it for me as well as that ending. |

I do agree that it is not right to force other people's opinions are another person. However, can say with somewhat certainty that as you grow older your taste will change and you will be able to critically analyze shows more effectively, naruto may not be one of your favorites anymore, this happened to me with DBZ. Essentially this means that the majority of the MAL forum base is above the age of 15 so they have different opinions. I am pretty sure that the OP is around the age of 15 as well based on what I see. |

| It's really hard to decide since there are so many great shows out there. But I would probably go with Mushishi, since it's only anime that gave me such transcendent feeling while watching it. Madoka Magica, 3-gatsu no Lion, LotGH, Monogatari and JoJo also deserve a mention. All of those anime are so close one could say they are nearly tied, and differing genres make any comparison pretty much impossible. |
| It's difficult to choose which one is the best series i've ever seen, but it should be one of these 3 : Gintama, HxH (2011), Cross Game. But probably, i would choose Cross Game since it's the most realistic out of those 3. Or maybe i would go for Gintama, since it was the show that made me laugh so hard. Well, either way, it must be 3 of them. For the movie, i would go for Flanders no Inu. Although i want to say 5 cm/s, since its story is so relatable to me, then i realized Flanders no Inu deserves it more. |
