| Trashy in a "bad but kinda enjoyable way" or plain bad? First trashy I would say most of the harem shows with generic troupes and some good fanservice. But if we are talking about real trash the thing that trigger me the most is "a generic show that takes itself too seriously despite being predictable, boring and not even funny". A serious show with a serious plot that it's bad has no reediming quality. I love edge, but when it's badly done is one of the things I hate the most too. And last, having shitty characters is also that makes a show trash. This pretty much sums up everything. |

| Anything with a harem tag is usually a no-go for me. Other than that, I despise the sexualization of lolis and kids. My favorite example is NGNL.. I thought the show was fun to watch for the sake of its premise, but my lord, the way they sexualized an 11-year-old girl was disgusting to me. I can understand a lot of sexual content revolving around characters that most western audiences would deem inappropriate by their respective ages, because the national age of consent in Japan is 13. Though I obviously think that's still way too young, going below that is just fucking weird to me on so many levels. And even though I consider the Higurashi series to among my recent favorites, the sexual references made towards Rika and Satoko on a few occasions were a huge turn-off for me. Thankfully it wasn't often enough to ruin the entire show, but that kind of content in general is detestable in my eyes. |

If an anime doesn't: > Start like a Turk and end like a German (start well and keep up the pace till the end) > Avoid wibbly wobbly plots to make up for a flawed plot > Have a remarkable and conclusive ending which keeps the entire scenario memorable despite the final (I'm looking at you and your Trigger bullsh!t, DiTF. Why can't you be like your older brothers?) > (If a shounen) Take legitimate perspectives of both sides and make me feel more emphaty towards the "bad" guys without making up nonsense then it's a big no-no for me. Also animes that start with hundreds of episodes worth potential content but has to finish at 24 or less episodes are prolly not worth the time. But most of the time you can't blame the creators :/ |

| I love over the top sex and gore so I don't consider it trash. For example: Cross Ange could be considered "trashy". yet it's more entertaining than highly generic moe comedy that makes up most seasons. |

| Depends on the genre, but in general an uninteresting plot, characters without proper personalities, overuse of cliches and repetition of the same shit over and over again i.e fights always going pretty much the same way. |
