I like spoilers and I always watch the next preview, in fact i normally read ahead on the episodes. If it is a old anime i like to find the episode list and read ahead, so i know what to expect.

Then what’s the point of watching.

As for me, I don’t like to do that but I mostly end up in the spoiler territory somehow. I can’t even explain why or how it all leads up to that but alas *sigh*, the number of plot twists I’ve watched spoiler for myself is .. numerous and I feel gutted every time I check it. And yet, I do it again. And again. It’s a sad cycle, I know.

Never because it's for me like spoiler (mostly preview showing main issues of next episode so it's like watching again episodes)

If is at the end of episode I will watch it. For a now airing anime I always watch the whole episode, OP, ED and the previews.
For the anime I really like i watch the previews on their Twitter if is not at the end of episode

I always watch the previews. And I don't consider them as spoiler, since there are mostly red herrings

I don't think there's ever any reason for me watching or not watching them. Sometimes I will and other times I don't want to be spoiled. I guess I don't watch previews for anything that I'm not extremely into, but for something that's exciting to watch and something I can't wait a week to see, I'll usually watch. And I'll watch previews for animes that I've read mangas for, since I already know what's coming, I just like to see how it's gonna look.

Yes I do, I no longer watch trailers and amvs. I do feel that op and Ed can be fast forwarded, but previews are what I decided not to skip through.

Yep. You never know if there is an extra scene at the end or if the anime decides to give some trivia about the episode.

Yes, but I like to watch the episode previews after I already watched the next episode. That way I can assert my dominance.

I usually do especially if they say something extra, as otherwise I'd be missing that, but if there's just the preview then no need.

almost never since I usually don't even watch all of the ED.

I don't really see most of them as spoilers tho, I just don't see the point of spending 30 seconds on something I'm gonna see in more detail next episode anyway.

Tho it depends, there are definitely extremely spoilerific ones, mostly in older anime. Like they'll give you tons of details about who's dying and how and when. That used to be a whole thing in the 80s. The previews in LOGH should definitely be skipped for that reason. It isn't as easy tho for a lot of older titles since the previews were often before the ED, so you get a neatless and quick transition from the final frames of the ep into hardcore spoilers for the next one. You gotta be quick with your hands to avoid those previews.

On the other hand sometimes, when I really love a show, especially the characters, the previews can actually be a nice way of getting a few more seconds with those characters, getting some dialogue or comedy on your way out. For example the Bebop previews I always look forward to on my rewatches. Once you really love a show and its characters you're just gonna be happy to see more of them even if it's only a few seconds of screentime and a fw lines of dialogue per episode.

Of course that only goes for the kind of preview where the characters actually narrate it with original lines and not the kind of preview where they just show you some scenes or have a narrator spoil you like in LOGH.
I probably regret this post by now.

I don't mind spoilers but I always skip it so I don't have to sit through the ending.
I usually check comments before I go to the next ep though, I've almost missed a bonus scene once or twice.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I'd be using the time during the ending or the preview to look at forums or do other things just in case there is a scene after. If I know it has a "fun"-like episode preview, I definitely would watch everytime.

Old anime tend to have major spoilers and I managed to get caught in them once I decide to go to the next episode after finishing browsing around. Like they legitimately told me which character dies in the next preview (just recently Mobile Suit Gundam). Killed quite a bit of possible enjoyment in the show.

If its a "next time on dragon ball Z" type preview... then no. Who cares I'm gonna watch it when the next episode comes out. However, a lot of shows have what my team has endearingly named "ghosts" at the end of the credits. Unique canonical bits of show not hosted in the before credits or the next episode, but it's not an "Easter Egg" or preview; so I always check. When I look at the run time at the credits, if there is an awkwardly long amount of time left, that is a good sign there is more content to be seen. Some shows even put key moments in those slots. I have missed a few, and remember thinking...
. So, I recommend checking, especially for someone who never watches the end bits. Who knows what you may have missed already?

Rarely. I will watch only when I already am familiar with the series. Mostly like how I already read the light novel/manga and I already know what happens, so the preview wouldn't spoil anything I don't already know. Example would be A Certain Magical Index. I've read the light novel which is way past the current airing season so previews don't mean much to me. I also tend to marathon anime and wait until all episodes are out since I don't like to wait which also kills the need to watch previews.

I do my best to avoid them cuz yeah spoilers, but most of the time I'll wait until the end of the credits so that I can just make sure it's there. Cuz with a lot of anime, especially near the end of the season, they'll have a little extra thing/cliffhanger after the credits before the preview.

No bcz I only watch anime that is already finished airing so there is no need to watch preview

But if I would watch anime that is currently airing then I would watch preview
