| Nagito Komaeda - I can't see his appeal honestly. His philosophy (if you can even call it that) relies on the abstract concept of hope and despair (which is repeated for the entirety of the show and it annoys the hell out of me) that isn't even well defined. He isn't well written, they just gave him this one quirk (being obsessed with hope) and act as if he's a complex character when he's really not. I'm down for the show establishing a simple character with well defined characteristics, what I don't like is when they pretend to be more than what they are. The guy is also very irritating and comes off as arrogant. @vegeta8639 For your own sake, try not to get offended at every different opinion you might come across. Being offended at every little thing will tire you out in no time. Not to mention you sound like an asshole |

| I still like this character but Yuki Nagato is one of the weaker Haruhi Suzumiya characters same with Sakura Kyoko from Modaka Magica Anyway of characters I dislike: Yuno Gasai [Mirai Nikki], Makoto Naegi [Danganronpa], Kanna, Elma, Kobayashi [Kobayashi's Dragon Maid], Kyou and Tomoya [Clannad] If you're wondering why Yuno is on this list, that's because I've seen a lot of summary videoes on Mirai Nikki but I don't think I should add it to my mal |

| He's 125-ish on the most favourited characters list so I guess he counts... but Subaru from Re:Zero. He's just a self-insert, sometimes cringey sometimes uncharacteristically mature inconsistent character, and he makes terrible choices many times. |
| Mihawke: Has a crappy fight with Zoro and beat Don Krieg. Who cares? Zoro: The most boring One Piece protagonist by a long shot. Shanks: Never has done anything. Rob Lucci: Most boring and generic One Piece villain, should've been Spandam. Portgas D. Ace: Has done very little, and he is an asshole to Luffy in the flashback anyway. Trunks: Mary sue from the future who's strong because plot says so. Android 18: Shouldn't have got redemption for what she did. Android 17: Same as 18 come DB Super. Why does Goku even remember him? Jiren: The character is outright supposed to be boring. Broly: A terrible motivation and no personality. Bio Broly also exists and is an abomination. Kale: Female Broly? Just make Broly canon at this point, I don't even care. Killua: Takes over 50 episodes for him to lose a fight. He is an insanely edgy asshole who gets away with way too much than he should be able to. Really terrible generic design made to appeal to young girls. Gon: Advertised as the main character but is just an irrelevant sidekick to Killua. He is the embodiment of Shonen cliches. He is obsessed with his father who hates him for no good reason. Leorio: Unfunny comic relief who adds nothing and is somehow credited as a main character despite vanishing after 25 episodes. Chrollo Lucifer: He did finally get some screen time in the manga where he comes back, but the anime version of this character is such an anti climax, as most villains are in Hunter X Hunter. Illumi: He casually vanishes at the end of the Hunter Exam arc for one of the biggest anti climaxes I have seen in anime, never to appear in anything beyond cameos again and never giving closure to his character. Light: Too evil to ever sympathize with as a protagonist, but not enjoying anything he does as a villain so I can't enjoy him as a villain either. Misa: I hate yanderes. Lelouch: Largely the same as Light. Maes Hughes: No idea why people are so obsessed with this random one note gag character. He's extremely irrelevant and doesn't have personality traits other than his gag. Naruto: Intentionally made to be annoying. Alucard: More overpowered than Goku, Goku is a lot more capable of losing. As a character he is okay but he has no reason to obey his boss. Gilgamesh: So overpowered he brings the ending of Fate/Zero to a close with no tension because word of god says so. After that in Fate/Stay Night, he is kind of a bitch to Kirei and dresses like a tween. There are any positive elements of the character but it needs serious work, and he is the most marketed character after Saber. Rin: I hate tsunderes. Ash: Not sure how popular he is, but he's an incompetent moron who refuses to develop over the course of a literal thousand episodes. Mako Mankanshoku: Annoying hyperactive comic relief that doesn't know when to stop bombarding my face. |

| There aren't truly any characters I hate...except for ones everyone does, like Shimoneta. But I guess the closest negative feelings I have for a main character is one for Tohru, in Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. Her personality wasn't awful and she had several sweet moments, but the fact that she constantly acted dumb in human situations which do not take much comprehension to understand, and even carelessly used her powers in the open despite all the terror that's been caused in the past for doing this, just doesn't seem believable and makes me become annoyed with her. Especially when she tries to get Ms. Kobayashi to eat her tail....*shudders* |
