| Aho-Girl reminds me of some of my favorite parts of Konosuba: the male lead regards all the girls around him with such distain that, for what appears to be a harem on the surface is actually the guy wanting to distance himself as much as possible from everyone else's rampant idiocy. However, in both cases, the male lead is just as much susceptible to that same idiocy, so they really all deserve each other. With Aho-Girl, Akuru tries to stay above everyone's insanity, relying on characters like Sayaka and his teacher to anchor himself in reality, but as Yoshiko's black hole of idiocy intensifies, everyone's eventually pulled in, much to Akuru's chagrin. |

| How did Yoshiko manage to hide in one place for 2 days straight? And still have a lot of energy after that? She didn't have water or food during those 2 days I believe. It's really amazing that one can do that for 2 days straight. If it were me, I don't think I'll make it. And Yoshiko crossdressing and fooling the teacher somehow flabbergasts me even more. |
