What do you think is the most rushed anime ever?

Probably Angel Beats for me. Even though it's still really good as it is.

Quan Zhi Gao Shou. It's skipping through so many stuff it got to around chapter 150 of the web novel in 8 episodes.

Uh Danmachi's like 5 LNs in 13 eps (and a whole LN was fit in ep 9).

Danganronpa: The Animation was super rushed. I read somewhere that the visual novel takes around 30+ hours to complete (I could be wrong so don't quote me on that). And they really tried to condense all that down into 13 episodes

The last few episodes of Erased come to mind. I also agree with Danganronpa; those seasons would have been better with double the episodes.

It made my head spinning.

Occutic;Nine probably, not just the story is rushed, but the pacing itself was fast af. That I'm hurting my eyes paying attention to subtitles, fast voice acting and irregular camera angles.

Don't really know if i'd say it's the MOST rushed, but Kizumonogatar's adaptation is going too fast and skipping in things that actually built the characters for the climax.
Still fun though, but yeah, kinda lame that I'm not going to be as invested as in the novel.

The second season of Tokyo Ghoul is probably the most rushed thing I've seen.

Honestly, I feel like even if it was in a TV format or an OVA thing. It would probably yield the same results.

Yeah, a lot of what made the novel unique came from its format as a book. Still appreciate the direction they took with the films though.

Haven't read everything else, so I don't really know how did with the rest of the series lmao.

The most obvious answers that I can think of, due to the fact that they're complete trainwrecks, are Guilty Crown, Magical Warfare, and Taboo Tattoo.

First thing that popped into my head was Angel Beats. It was extremely good, as a matter of fact i loved the story it is one of my favoites. It could have been way better though if they gave the characters more time to develop.

However when i actually think, ive gotta say Corpse Party is the most rushed ive come across. In a bad way. I love the game and the story and characters and really wish they never bothered to make a lousy anime adaptation of it because it is way too short and rushed and crappy

Doesn't Tokyo Ghoul adapt the entirety of the original manga in 24 episodes?

If so then that. First season is okay but it's pretty damn clear that they butchered the story and the second season is the sloppiest adaptation ever but is about as entertaining as the first season, which is to say, a little.

i have a friend who's a big TG manga fan and according to him, they don't even really adapt the manga, more like they just butcher it and cram into that mess.

Probably Magi, i've never read the star of the manga though (I starter after the anime), but my sources are from both people who read it.

It is roughly 4 chapters per episode, so the rush was probably in the first two cours

does charlotte counts?
because that changes from slow as fuck pacing in the first half from having the most rushed plot ever in episode 13,where the last episode could be its own season.
I guess I could simply says it has the worst pacing ever because of hom uneven and badly planned the whole thing is but calling it rushed is not entirely false

Death Note (the last half)
Sword Art Online (Making the first arc a whole 25 episode season, then Alfheim etc.) (The characters would have gotten a lot more character development that way but that didn't happen)

Da Heck? Battle sequence are way, average but something else are truly lacking. The Storyline is Such a J U M B O mess and way too clusterfuck.

Angel Beats was pretty rushed, all the backstories of the side characters were thrown to the viewers very soon, like if we were supposed to care about them just because they had a sad past when they just had one or two episodes worth of screentime at best, and the last episodes (minus the final one, who was alright) were especially noticeable. Like,

The Rebuild of Evangelion movies were rushed too. Not so much the 1.0 and 3.0, but the 2.0 didn't had any sense of pace. In one scene they introduce Asuka and suddenly she is part of the main gang, the execution of the attack of the Angels was really frantic and you didn't had time to adjust yourself to the events happening, then Mari appears out of nowhere without his character being explored at all... I know this is mostly due being a movie and not having that much time to explore things, though.

Nanatsu no Taizai was rushed to an extent, but not as bad as other examples. The pacing was way too quick in some episodes, but overall, it was okay.

Occultic;Nine has one of the most rushed first episodes I have ever seen, but, luckily, the series becomes more easy to understand at the end (more or less). However, unlike the other examples, at least the scenes when characters started to talk extremely fast were kind of funny.

Taboo Tattoo has a big rush during the 4th episode (if I remember right), so big it ended fucking up the rest of the series (not for the rush itself, but because it was in that moment when the series turned extremely stupid).

The second season of Tales of Zestiria the X has a very rushed final episode. So much even the studio had to took a break to create a properly ending because there was no way they were going to end the series properly in just one episode.

If we talk about rushed endings, the manga ending of Bleach takes the crown in my experience. And it looks Fairy Tail is going for a similar ending....

Doesn't take that long if you follow a walkthrough. :^) But it is true that it was greatly rushed, but still decently enjoyable on its own, I believe.

The finale episode of Charlotte...
I tried to recall Angel Beats and I have to agree that it was rushed, especially the setting and characters as most of them were unexplored. Could have been better if it was 20+ episodes. Charlotte too but I have a bigger issue with it. Those last episodes felt underutilized and could have been better used than some of the filler episodes in the middle or start of the series.

The anime truly had a lot of potential in my opinion but because of how rushed it was(it still hurts me just thinking about it), everything just fell apart(though i still wish they made a second season to make up for it)

Don't think it gets worse than the last couple of episodes of Charlotte - especially the very last episode, the premise of which alone could quite literally have had its own second season.

Angel Beats and Charlotte, the fact that both were original works makes it even more frustating, it could've been timed way better by the production staff.
