| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's sad to think that the police swordsmen is probably something that actually happened way back. Take away the people's right to protect themselves and tease them with a higher corrupted power. Each episode has ended pretty much the same so far, looking forward to something that lasts a little bit. |

Yeah it's not so much armed government (and unarmed public) that's the problem, it's having authority without the proper laws in place to protect citizens' rights. In most modern societies this isn't an issue, and people don't need firearms for that reason. In other circumstances what you have is not government but warlordism. |

| The ED song remind me a little bit of Crosstown Traffic. I think it's the kazoo. That episode was fun. We got to see that Kenshin still have relationship with the Ishin Shishi remains. That police was more than corrupt. They literally had blood lust, yooooo. |

I mean that "that is" he ends sentences with, etc. This is to mimic the "de gozaru" (kinda an archaic form of "desu") that Kenshin uses at the end of his sentences in the Japanese version. It's pretty eccentric and quirky, which I think fits him. |

I'm assuming that'll change though! Yep. All three were just like that. I feel like they also kind of meander until Kenshin arrives. Characters seem to often make strange choices too. In this one I found the villains to be kinda weird. I like the corrupt law story going on, but would they really just execute a large portion of a town? That seems a little stupid. I feel like corrupt law officers are a little more careful than that. |

| Ugh!!! Enough with the anti-police comments! It really disgust me to see such hate comments towards police officers! Anyone who bad mouths police deserve to rot in jail! >:( |
