Doga Kobo got paid a contracting fee ahead of time and was given a budget for the animation project. They get little to nothing after that because they're not in the production committee. Think of the production committee as consisting of entities who have invested a certain amount of money into the animation project, and are usually listed in order of how big the investment was. This is a fairly common arrangement for animation studios unless you are one of big ones such as Sunrise for example. |

The two big differences are Touken Ranbu because the game is popular in Japan and UtaPri because idols are more popular in Japan. |
