I watch anime to enjoy myself. It`s my preferred medium, and I don`t watch a lot of TV or typical "netflix" shows. I guess you could say I am really happy that anime exists, since it has given me a lot of good memories and interesting ways to look at life.

But the anime community itself is pure cancer, and I really wish it didn`t exist.

I don't really prioritize things often but i guess it is on the second spot when it comes to my hobbies eehhhh dunno how to explain it so have a graph:

Family > My nonexistent Friends > My nonexistent Job > Music > Anime > can't be bothered to list the rest.

LMAO just noticed:

well, Anime community doesn't exist, being interested in anime doesn't make you a part of anime community just like liking apples doesn't make you a part of the apple community....

As an entertainment factor pretty high but with stuff like studying, work, family etc. it would probably be much lower lol :3

If we don't count the neccessary things to do in life like working, eating or sleeping then I guess anime is tied as #1 with family/human relationships

It's just enjoyment, why would it have any priority? I watch it when I don't feel like doing anything else.

Among all my entertainment hobbies, Football>Video Games>TV Series(Walking Dead, Game of Thrones etc)>Anime
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Anime shares my free time with my other hobbies, like computer games and tabletop RPGs.
In as much as I actually plan anything, it never takes priority over my job, my volunteer work, and my family obligations.

I am very passionate about anime and consider it my favorite hobby even though I don't keep up with most seasonal stuff these days and don't watch it nearly as much as most users on MAL. I feel as though if I were to put a priority on it it would start to feel like work which is the last thing I want.

Hm. When I started, it was my life. Day and night I was watching anime.

Now, it is still pretty important to me. Still has a higher priority than homework...
Don't watch it every day though.
So I guess still pretty high.

Watching anime, for me, has never taken any precedence over my other activities especially the leisure one. It is just because it is there why I watch them. If I got something more important to do, or something that I found more intriguing to do to pass my free time, then those anime could wait.

I'm not sure about what "priority" means in this case. It takes most of my free time, but it's not as satisfying and/or meaningful compared to many other things I like.
It's just a cumbersome pastime.

Not as high as it used to be. Considering entertainment probably on places 2-4 depending on my mood, overall it should be further down.

Things necessary for decent quality of life (i.e. food, hygiene, contact with other members of humanity, sanity maintenance, and so forth) > College > Writing > Video Games ≈ Anime > Everything else

In all seriousness, though, calling it a "priority" is a bit of a stretch. It's a hobby that I indulge in when I have some free time and don't feel like writing.
Important Note: I no longer - in any way, shape, or form - consider myself a moral nihilist (even in my old, convoluted definition of the term). I very much do believe there is such a thing as objective good and evil. In addition, I apologize for any of the posts I've made that are rude, aggressive, or otherwise unbecoming.

I've always striven to walk a path befitting a follower of Christ, and now recognize some of my old comments here as misguided if not outright wrong. If you happen upon them, pray do not let them darken your view of the God I serve. He is kind, even if I, at times, have not been.

I don't prioritize watching anime.. I am watching just because I have free time.. it doesn't need to be in my "options" in doing things.. learn to separate a hobby from the ones you really need to do.

It's something I watch in my free time to enjoy myself. I don't really like many TV shows nor do I watch many movies so it's my go-to entertainment medium. Some people on here treat anime like a job or chore, though. Damn masochists.

It's the highest priority as far as entertainment for me, I also like some sports and some TV series.
When it comes to entertainment, anime is the tops. Other activities pertaining to work, or yard and housework will still be higher priority of course. Chores always come before entertainment, I like to get such shit out of the way before I relax.

Sometimes I don't watch anime for months and sometimes I binge two series in one weekend. It depends if I come across something interesting and if I have the time besides work, the household and irl appointments with friends. It's definitely important to me to get time to watch when I want to, but not so much that I need to reserve a specific evening or day to watch without going crazy.

My life is devoted to anime. The purpose of me working a job is to pay my bills and groceries so that I can solely watch anime. I also play video games but not as much as I watch anime. I work hard so that I can watch anime. Anime is life!
