Intense episode, loved it.

Highway Star may look strange but not to be underestimated. Really liked the thrill of the episode when it was hunting Josuke on the road.

Funny how Kouchi trolled that pharmacist.
Josuke is pretty badass with the motorcycle this episode imo. GG Yu

They didn't fix the manga scene where Josuke throws away the broken phone and steals another one instead of just fixing it hahahaha

We got to see a lot of episodes without much quality problems, I hope they don't appear in the next one, the cat arc is one of the best

Holy crap, I never even realized that obvious plothole. Guess David didn't either.

But man, I was wondering who Fungami's voice actor was, and at the exact moment he said "Highway Star has your scent!" in his hospital room, he sounded 100% like Kittan from TTGL. Instantly checked it, and it WAS the same voice. My evening was made.

If anyone still doesn't think that Josuke, Koichi, and Rohan are the best after this episode, I don't know what to tell you.

It's a joke, not a plothole. Josuke forgets to heal Koichi after he's been punched through a door and also has to be told by Jotaro to fix his hand after he got shot by Ratt.

What a beautiful episode! I love the way they used the OST in this episode.
Koichi has matured a lot lol.
The beatdown at the end felt kind of underwhelming, though.

And finally, we'll get to see more Kira.

This episode felt somewhat rushed to me, I remember highway star feeling longer in the manga and much more intense and suspenseful.
I find it quite interesting that Josuke was attacked by an already injured person in the hospital only for him to fix him and beat him up again.
Koichi has a very good stand, the fact that he can use all 3 acts is OP.
I think this story was a perfect spot for Araki to slip a Josuke hair insult by the High Way star guy.

Nice the Cat who loved Kira next, another Kira centered story is always what's best.

Didn't even notice in neither the manga or the anime tbh but what I did notice is that Josuke can hit the wall on the side and assemble the pieces in front of him to block Highway Star instead of them coming back to the wall he destroyed.
Also Kira's dad can fly without a bird now.

This episode played just like in the manga, actually. It was ultimately a good choice to make the previous one the beginning of the arc. But I guess it has a lot more impact to read and see pages with amazing scenes like the bike being destroyed and repaired.

Also, Josuke can repair things like he wants, just like he repaired that dude's nose in the beginning of the anime and with his avant-garde project "Angelo Stone".

I honestly think it has much more to do with different mediums and how much time they have in the episode.

It felt much more slow paced and intense because the format of the manga and araki's general artstyle and writing.

However in an animated medium where they didnt even use cheap methods such as CGI to animate the bike scene its kinda justified for it to be fast paced and thrilling.

Although I do agree they could've done Some liberties on the orginal horror and intense aspect of the chase.

Yeah he's not only bound to repairing, he can also reassemble in any way he wants to and create other shapes.

This episode suffered from following the manga too closely, the "fix it" scene worked much better on paper, them making every shot like in the manga made it feel slow and less epic.
Good episode nonetheless.

That was an great episode. They didn't skip the funny moment with the cellphones. The chase was great and that beating at the end was satisfying. And we saw the beginning of the Stray cat arc.Not really hyped for this, but I believe David won't disappoint nonetheless.

Because there was a lot of text, i re-read those chapters a few hours before the episode came out and i noticed that, those chapters have a LOT of text going on and some scenes seem more impactful because of how detailed they are drawn, Josuke drifting while pivoting on his knee for example, in the manga he even bled from that, but not here in the anime.

For some reason I felt like the pacing of the first half of the episode was a bit off. Didn't feel as high intensity as it did in the manga. And this is despite the fact that the anime actually adapted most panels perfectly. I think it's probably because not too much animation was devoted to the actual bike movement. David Pro is really good at animating individual panels, but they've never really been good at actually showing fluid motion.

Second half of the episode was perfect though.

Highway star is not really that powerful. You have to see how are the stands from part 5 and 6.
Also, What is wrong with it being powerful?

"3) it can also morph a tunnel to trap others"

Actually, this is the only way for it to work. Highway Star only tracks someone by the smell after trapping him in the room. That was the whole point of Rohan trying to avoid that Josuke entered the room.

Oh god the credits worry me A LOT.

3 action animation directors, 11 animation directors, 3 mecha animation directors, assistants for most of these as well. This is a production hell and with 10 episodes left on top of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if we either get a drop in quality or a recap episode tho I pray it won't come to that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wondered why Josuke didn't just fix the first cell phone with his Stand.

I liked this episode, it was really intense, but also pretty funny. "Let's kill da ho. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCH!!" That was golden. I also found it hilarious how Josuke just rode into the elevator on a motorcycle. He didn't really have a choice but I thought that was really funny.

People talking about the plot hole about Josuke throwing away a broken phone instead of fixing it.

Did anyone not notice the fact that Josuke drove a motorcycle straight into a hospital and hasn't been caught/arrested? Pretty sure there'd be serious charges for that if it were real life. (Then again, this is Jojo we're talking about.)

Great episode arc nonetheless, I enjoyed it as much as the manga version.

1 episode and half for The boy
1 Episode for CT
5 episodes for the whole AOBTD arc.
the final episofe could be the epilogue and maybe the GW teaser.

You do realize that the only way he can use his Stand is by luring people into that tunnel, right? Otherwise Highway Star could've sucked up any of the people that passed.

There are probably Speedwagon Foundation guys that stake out the area to make sure that doesn't happen.

The phone part was obviously made for the lulz. Araki didn't make a huge mess or problem to call Koichi only because Josuke didn't fix the phone (when he can obviously). However he got another one instantly so is not that relevant. It makes feel that scene funny

We got Josuke biking around Morioh stealing peoples phones, and Koichi flaming nurses with absolutely no dignity. This is what stands do to people!!

Also I absolutely loved this episode and Yuya was a pretty interesting guy all things considered- kinda bummed we'll never see him again. I can't tell if Josuke is a real good guy or just has an overly guilty conscience...his moral code is wacked out. Heals a guy just to beat the shit out of him bc it's bad to pick on the weak XD

Are we gonna be treated to a Kira centric arc next week??...if so I can't wait!!!
