DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As I expected, Inuyasha confronts Kikyo as to her motivations for giving Naraku Kagome's jewel shards and she explains it is part of her plan to destroy Naraku. Man, Naraku just can't stop creating underlings :D |

| I don't think becoming a full demon is so much leveling up as it is losing the game. As for Kikyo, didn't she die and the part of the soul that reanimates her golem come from Kagome who was another incarnation? Inuyasha needs to get over Kikyo and embrace Kagome (although I think it will take at least another hundred episodes before that happens). |

| This episode is by far one of my favorite. Although i hate how Kikyo handed over the jewel, I must say it was a shock when Tetsugia broke and Inuyasha became a demon and killed it. I hope he get's his powers under control. I hope even more that stubborn Totosai will fix his sword! Gosh Inuyasha, stop fighting people when you're hurt... |

| Wow, one kickass episode! I'm glad we got to see InuYasha and Kikyo speak, I'm just curious to what Kikyo's rationale is now... InuYasha's Tetsaiga being broken was an interesting twist but the best part of this great episode was InuYasha turning full demon and basically kicking ass. It was awesome, funny ending with Kagome saying "sit boy" which made him revert back to half demon again. I found Kagome to be really annoying this episode which I can't recall ever being a problem for me before. Either way, great episode InuYasha was so badass. |
| Sword breaks, Inuyasha transforms into full demon, and he's heavily wounded. Very action packed episode. Wonder what Kagome will do now. |

| It's true that it's becoming kinda hard to defend Kikyo. Her explanation didn't made much sense. As far as I know, he's only a melting pot of youkai, so it's not like he was invincible or anything. It's just that Naraku is extremely sneaky, but everyone make errors at some point and he would have left some tracks for InuYasha and co. We got to saw InuYasha youkai side. Do he really want to become like that with the Shikon no Tama? He didn't seem to like it himself... |

| So much happened this episode, Inuyasha still being a piece of shit to Kagome only having eyes for Kykyo, the sword his break but he has awaken some new power, great episode ! Like someone said up there it will take another hundred episode before Inuyasha embrace Kagome, it's frustrating |
| Oh wow, Inuyasha should learn to control that evil power up - that'd be a good weapon against Naraku. I was wondering why this third Naraku-spawn wasn't in the OP...because he dies in the same ep he's introduced lol. I wonder if Tetsusaiga is gone for good or if it's just momentarily! Also I should make a drinking game for this anime where you take a shot every time Kagome says "Inuyasha!" |

To be realistic, I think this is a show where, even 20 years ago when it first aired, is rather impossible to go into not at least partially spoiled. It puts a lot more dramatic emphasis on the fallout from large events and happenings and the characters' own reactions and interaction with each other than anything set up to be genuinely surprising. It just isn't that type of show, for better or worse (personally I couldn't care less, but I know some people favor and even require that, for a show to have concealed twists/large reveals or just be more generally unpredictable). |

I actually find that aspect of Inuyasha rather liberating and a nice change of pace in that very quickly in the first season, by the second episode, the main conflict is introduced, the primary antagonist is introduced later that same season, and then it's just the journey. They have one main goal which, while complex to achieve, is simple at its essence. Unless they pull a radical subversion of expectations and if you've seen any dramatic romantic fantasy epic you know it probably will end a certain way, so you can just stop worrying about it, figure or assume that things will probably be resolved one way or the other by story's end, and just enjoy the amazing journey, characters, music, and atmosphere. I really hope Inuyasha will still have some incredible things to bequeath to you. |

| The hypocrisy of Kagome is astounding... If she defends Koga after he kidnapped her and tried to kill Inuyasha, there's nothing wrong. But if Inuyasha says that Kikyo has a plan and that's the reason why she gave Naraku the jewel, Inuyasha is an idiot and has to apologize... wtf? |
| I don't understand Kikyo anymore. She's not neutral like she was when she got revived anymore. She's not confused or misunderstood. Even after the misunderstanding is cleared she didn't become a good guy again. Now she's like a villain with extra steps. Originally I preferred Kikyo x Inuyasha but now seems like a great time to jump ship to Kagome who's not that much better but at least she's not "evil". Naraku's flying insects are such an annoying plotdevice. It's as if the writer realized Miroku's wind tunnel is too OP so she just forces these insects in just so he can't do anything because the plot demands it. Miroku, Sango and Shippo need some serious upgrades. |
