| Since the mom died at such a young age, I think the cause of her death is that she either had a car accident or contracted some sort of terminal illness. I don't know, it's just my assumption. |

| Amazing first episode. It managed to be extremely cute, but there was always an air of melancholy after you find out about his wife. Seeing the dad cry at the end there almost brought me to tears. |

| I am surprised by this series i did not expect it to be at this level of feels that soon.. The pace of the episode was good and right on. That moment when he asked his Daughter if the rice was good and her answer was..... i got no words to describe how awesome that was.. ..wow Both the OP and ED were great. |

When the mother was around, they'd eat together as a family, but since she's gone, it doesn't really seem like that's the case anymore. It was shown that Kouhei had just given up on cooking since he sucked and bought nothing but take out since then and hadn't bothered to eat together with her. It also looked like Kouhei did care for Tsumugi, but he wasn't exactly there for her. Tsumugi also said something along the lines like "It's been a long time we've ate together" or whatever. Besides, I think most people would rather a good home cook meal than some take-out food, or maybe that's just me. Or... maybe I'm just assuming way too damn much since I haven't even read the manga LOL |

| Nice first episode. Though I would say it was a combination of Barakamon and Usagi Drop but without as much subtlety. The cuteness factor of his daughter was a bit too overstated for my liking. |
| Welp got diabetes from this show. The little kid is so sweet my blood turns into sugar. I just know that the father daughter bitters sweet moments of this slice of life show will be great. Getting ready for the feels train on the feels station. |

| Ohhhhhhh now this was one I was excited for. And it was just how I expected it to be. Feels everywhere, cute stuff all around, and sugar. Lots and lots of sugar from everything, from start to finish. This is gonna be such an emotional and sweet ride. |

| Beautiful start for the AOTS. It was very touching to see Tsumugi and her father, I got teary eyes during the restaurant part. It reminds me Barakamon, which is one of my favorites anime. Naru's VA and Kouhei's VA are so talented |

| That volume of hair feels so strange on a kid. She's only in preschool! Plus she also seems too bright for her age and overall comes off kinda unrealistic. Came for Hayamin but might not be my cup of tea since I don't have interest in family type stories. I wouldn't mind a romance here but I think a lot of people would flame the show if it went there. |

| Yes, that void that Barakamon and Usagi Drop left with me... This show fills it. I feel so blessed. All I ask for is no romance between the kids (Tsumugi or Kotori) and Otou-san. No romance between them, please. If they choose to put romance, let an adult woman get together with him. No more weird Japanese kinks like what Usagi Drop did. 5/5 |

| Great start, very smooth and nicely paced episode, touching with a few funny moments, I can already tell this is gonna tug at my heartstrings. I'm prepared for the feels. |

| Shinichi became a dad huh... dad-tagonist's appearance reminds me a lot of him haha But the daughter is disgustingly cute I liked this first episode a lot! Just hope it doesn't end up destroying me emotionally along the road |

| This was surprisingly emotional for a first episode. The last few moments were sort of awkward and I hope they do a good job explaining the reasoning for the request (outside of "for the plot") next week. The kid, though very hyper, is surprisingly well behaved. I now have high expectations for this series. |
