| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, Mumei still not getting along with some of her comrades. I find the world building somewhat interesting particularly with how the group are planning their next strategy. I also find it interesting to also see the internal network of the rail tracks with the various roles the characters undertake this episode. Mumei's still badass as ever since last time. I think they're also putting more faith into Ikoma and allowing them to use certain devices with them. Those eyes. What a monster at the end...  |

Aside from the people that get annoying as hell now, I liked the little hints toward a bigger plot and Mumei's backstory. Also I'm interested how this shadowy thing works. Maybe it's a creature consisting of a huge amount of Kabane that melded together under strong heat? |

| I knew this was gonna happen sooner or later. Mumei's still friggin BA but in the overall scheme she didn't do shit. And it kinda saddens me to say this since I love her a lot but she was kinda annoying this ep. Glad this happened this early on in the series since we'll get her development sooner. That kick boxer wazatori was cool tho And WTH was that at the end O_o A fusion of Kabane? |

| We finally get a glimpse of Mumei's past. That girl in the flashback was dressed in the same garb as Mumei so another Kabaneri? If so why was she put down like that. |

| Mumei's timing combat just can't be ignored. The world building is quite unique till now. The station system and networking all connected. Really nice to see different settings each week. OMG the black smoke reveal! |

| Also love that at the start of the episode Ikoma was nerding out about the modifications to the Bushi weapons and we finally see that Kabane like sword Kurusu uses in the OP. They used the Heartcage itself to smith that baby! |
| Damn i feel bad for Mumei. Brother must be a savage to just throw away people like that. Pretty good episode. I loving the character development in this series. Giving time to explain this like the gun and the Kabane sword. Another thing I really like is how Kurusu is still hurt. Usually he would have got that magical heal from last episode to this. Seems like Mumei brother doesn't play no games. She really not the same after that talk he that old dude. Also giving how she was in the start of the series, I agree with him, she has gotten soft. At the same time she still fucked up the plan so... I'm pretty sure some alone time in a cave with Ikoma will help her ;) WTF was that at the end!? Man I can't wait for the next episode. |

| The first half feels kind of weird, especially with the "troubled humans" again. Nevertheless, the second half goes back to the full package of action, which basically defines this series. The characterization attempts for Mumei are pretty interesting as well. I hope that they will come back to it later on. |

| Another interesting thing is what Enocku was saying. Though I think Enoch sounds better. So the Shogun is stockpiling weapons that can kill PEOPLE not Kabane. It sounds like they're setting themselves up either for a purge or to stop accepting refugees. |

If you don't watch this anime with the mindset of nitpicking, you're able to have a great time watching it. |

| Mumei's brother sounds like a certified dick I'm curious to find out more about this little subplot that she has going involving this thing with the swordsman, her brother and this whole humans killing humans thing, because after that encounter with that dude + the flashback, it really messed her up big time :( I really liked how everyone worked like a well oiled machine for the most part in this episode except for Mumei in the second and last third of the episode....She was badass but her personality and actions were retarded and look at what happened because of it Ikoma continues to shit on Eren by being useful and intelligent via him making changes to everyone's weapons as well as for coming up with a great plan, even though his concern for Mumei after she went full retard kinda fucked everything up But holy fuck, this station is a death trap lol....Way too many Kabane are here and that Black Smoke Monster thing is menacing as fuck, especially going by the PV |

That is, in SnK, "titan" was chosen specifically to allude to Eren Jaegar and the symbolism of his role in the story. This thing looks like a locust, doesn't look even like a kabane. |

| Pretty decent episode I guess. The first half was a bit slow and uninteresting, but things started to pick up in the second half. That group/cluster of kabane though O_O 3/5 |

| Well things are escalating really quickly. Interesting to see old Ikoma going back to what he do best, engineering genius that even Mgyver would be proud! Anyway I like everyone that is arguing about THAT to shut the hell up as it's either trolling or feeding the troll. | Pretty exciting episode, especially the second half. I like Mumei (more than Ikoma), although her storyline in this episode was a bit too "in your face". Like, OK, we get it: sad backstory, shady dude comes back, "I'm worthless" attitude that will have to get corrected through the power of teamwork, yada yada. |
