The second half was a bit more forgettable (even tho I just finished it last night), but I thought it had some solid character development and I do hope Shaft, or another studio like Ajia-Do or the A-1 staff that did Your Lie in April, can keep it going. Also, after that ending Rei x Hinata is my otp. That being said, I still think Haikyuu and Chihayafuru did a better job getting me invested in both the characters and the sport/game (the characters are solid in all three, but I know way more now about volleyball and karuta than I do shogi). |
