It looks like Celty saved him even though she didn't. They didn't change anything, people are just misinterpreting the scene. |

I know Shuka is probably not receiving great funding, considering they're a part of Brains Base that essentially broke off from the company because they were not going to produce a second season for DRRR, but could they be doing a shoddier job? | OMG, it's progressing. The Shizaya death match fight in under way. Of course they'd split it up into different episodes. Meh, I'm going to cry either way. Poor Izaya. My poor baby is hurt. The outcome is going to hurt my heart. Sorry, I really am an Izaya fangirl. He's an asshole, but he's my favorite asshole. Ahem, Team Sayonara. I'm so glad they included Shinra's commentary on Izaya. I mean, obviously they would, but it's just relieving that it's here. I've been looking forward to it. The flashbacks were lovely too. I would've liked more ShinraxIzaya conversations in present, but I do love learning about the Raijin days. This episode was just pretty great, ne? It's getting intense, and there are so many characters in the field now. But my favorites get a lot of screen time because death match. |

| This episode was awesome - as expected from durarara. ;) I loved the fight between Shizuo and Izaya, and the "zombie apocalypse" in Ikebukuro It feels like the end already, I'll try reading the novels later, cause you know... can't beat the original. I hope we can see in the next episodes the long awaited meeting of the three friends. Wonder how they're gonna get out of the bar though 0_0 We have to wait one week to find out! |

| Damn this was really good. Izaya has real problems now. I doubt he's able to move after a hit like that. On top of that his best bet against Shizuo didn't work. What is he going to do now? I can't imagine him dying but this really looks hopeless for him. Celty and Shinra were quite interesting, too. Shinra "broke" Saikas spell and for some reason Celty did something when Izaya tried to kill Shizuo(she couldn't have regained her memory, could she?). The best were Anris eyes though. That blinking xD It seemed like she doesn't try to hide Saika anymore. Although I was surprised she was so calm when reading the chat. She must know that they were talking about her and Namie wasn't even using a nickname. Yet when they left the building Anri didn't react at all. |

| Like many others said too, I'm really liking the fact that everyone is kind of like gathering towards the grand, grand finale. Connecting all the pieces and whatnot. It's all very interesting. There's not a dull moment in this season. |
| Ok, so it's not just me and my poor eyesight but everyone too did notice the decline in animation quality Q_Q I did notice the characters look somewhat "off' and different in the newer seasons but me being silly I though it was a shift in artistic styles. Welp. |

| Did Shinra's love for Celty overcome Saika's influence? I think there's still a battle going on there because his eyes are still red. Nevertheless, who knew Shinra, of all people, would know Izaya best. I should've expected it seeing as they are friends. I have hope for Celty's memories coming back, especially after seeing her save Shizuo. |

| It feels like nothing that happens matters at this point. Like there really are no stakes, no one is actually going to die in the Shizuo/Izaya fight, somehow at the end of all this Anri Mikado and Kida will all be friends again, and Shinra and Celty will find some way back to each other. Not that those aren't good things, but this journey has been so long and convoluted I just don't care anymore. Which makes me sad...haha. |

| Wondering where Celty swag walked to. They made it look like she helped Shizuo but it seems like he's the one who broke a hole in the ground to survive the blast. | Would you save the daughter of the married woman you love? The girl fight continues. DAT KASANE BOOTY! Shizuo sent Izaya flying. lol Saika has no control over Shinra because the greatest wall for him to climb was getting Celty to love him. Shinra avoided getting stabbed by answering correctly. |

| Despite this show nearing its climax, it's still kinda mundane. The Shizuo/Izaya fight was also underwhelming. |
| Shizou finds his own way out of that situation, I'm glad he survived for now. Celty takes out the explosion for some reason, while Shinra planning something. Izaya got his ass whopped by steel beam and went home run. I still smell a bittersweet ending but hope I'm wrong. |
| I just want Shizuo to beat the hell out of Izaya, just this. Also even with three episodes left, we still are just setting things up. |

| Whilst it looked like Izaya got extremely close to killing Shizuo it appeared that Celty might have done something to save him, helping him knock Izaya away. You sort of know it wasn't going to happen either way though. Takashi still building up zombies outside of the sushi place. This is probably the closest Mikado and Masaomi have been in a while, wonder if the plan Masaomi has will work out. Shinra also seems to finally be on the move to Celty, thanks to some help from Manami. |
