| Haggis? Sure, it's got a nice spicy tang to it. It looks weird but trust me, it is good :P Otherwise a few unofficial national foods of Scotland are (bare in mind we like to put Heinz Beans on everything lol): Deepfried Mars Bars: Surprisingly good... I never thought I would say that about it. Even if it looks and sounds ew. Fish and Chips: We share it with England but either way it is good. Especially the shop I get it from omg... Best in the country. Porridge: Yes but only sometimes.. Scones: Eh... I can take it or leave it... better with a cup of tea. Scotch Pie: I do enjoy the occasional one :P Black/Red/White Pudding: I can have one but depends on the mood and time of day. Oatcakes: Ew no. Shortbread: YES GIVE ME MORE. Mince and tatties: Depends on how good the tatties are, I can eat it but I would prefer other things. We have more Fish related dishes but all I can say is.... I am not a big fish person, I can eat them but eh... But I suppose a lot of these we share with England so. Do drinks count? Most of our drinks are alcoholic and I have never liked the taste of alcohol. Tea is great but that is just overall a British thing. And Finally an overall British meal but still a common thing in Scotland, "The Full British Breakfast": Did I say this list was going to be healthy? No, Scottish people don't give a crap about that, if it tastes good, who cares if you might die young, there are plenty of us still here and living to long ages. Hardiest stomachs around i'm telling you xD. |

The hamburger is also a sandwich, but with "hamburg steak" as the filling, which as you could guess from the name, originated in Germany. Stealing other country's foods and piling them on top of each other does not make it your cultural food. |

| Aussie cuisine is basically just a one-step process. Grab something meaty and barbecue it. I like it, but I typically like something with more bite, like Asian food. I like Indian food, and Chinese food the most. Mexican food isn't far behind. |

| NZ food is pretty good, although a lot of it is similar to British and Australian food. But we do it better. My favourite NZ foods/drinks are: -Bluff oysters (they're different than other oysters, and you have them cooked -- and in batter, if you're a fatty like most of us!) -Fish & chips (I know the Brits have this too, but the variety of seafood you get here is somewhat different.) -Our really fucking good ice cream (shout out to hokey pokey!) -Meat pies (Americans can fuck off with their bullshit fruit pies, pies are meant to be savoury.) - L&P (a lemon soda fizzy drink.) -Whitebait (no, this isn't a Tumblr term for intentionally provoking white people -- it's a kind of little fish that gets baked into fritters.) Us and Australia fight over who invented what a lot of the time, which goes to show that we have absolutely nothing of note to actually fight over. That said, we invented Pavlova. Fuck off Aussies. You can have your lamingtons, however. Basically, we have really good seafood and meat. I'm sure it's similar to other places in the world, but I feel like there's a unique richness/fattiness to all our foods that makes them that much better and unhealthier. Especially with things like meat and ice cream. Don't come here if you're a vegetarian because you're gonna have a bad time. Then you have the traditional Māori foods, but I haven't eaten much of those. Hāngis seem pretty cool though, and I do really love kumara (a type of native sweet potato). |

| I have an extremely diverse background but I'm Australian on the legal side of things. Australian food is generally fine, Vegemite is nice but is better with some butter. However, my favorite cuisine is probably Chinese with the basic Yangzhou fried rice being a favorite dish of mine. As a coffee drinker, living in Australia is a huge boon, as the country has a very distinctive coffee culture and is considered one of the best in the world. |
