That custom is more of a western custom than anything. It seems that Japan doesn't so much do that; it's quite normal for girls ask out guys whereas here it's very rare (because our society is horrifically retarded, as some might have noticed). I can't really remember if anyone confessed to him in the anime (they probably did), I need to rewatch it again, which I don't mind doing because I like the girls. |

It's common place for all mcs to do completely stupid things .90% of problems in most harem anime could be solved simply by the mc talking to a person before doing something or relaying information but it goes over their heads lol. I actually like Tokyo ghoul [not harem just making a point here.] but one of the scene where Kaneki is thinking in his head a whole speech about humans and Ghouls and how he could relay the message to make them understand each other and goes through a whole dialect in his head.....while getting beaten but says nothing then just bites the dude to stop him. well........ya know giving the speech out loud you did in your head instead prolly would have helped lololol. |
