Cast of BL Anime 'Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu.' Announced [Update 11/26]

The official website of the upcoming BL (boys' love) TV anime Kono Danshi, Mahou ga Oshigoto Desu. has revealed a key visual, along with the cast members of the series. Director Soubi Yamamoto, who helmed previous Kono Danshi anime projects, will return to direct the latest installment.

Cast
Chiharu Kashima: Yuuki Ono (Kuroko no Basket)
Toyohi Utsumi: Taku Yashiro (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka)

Synopsis
Chiharu Kashima is the captain of the Wizard Bureau's Crisis Countermeasures Division. One day, he meets a friendly man named Toyohi Utsumi at the bar he frequents. Soon after the meeting, Utsumi confesses, "I've fallen in love with Kashima-san." Kashima is taken aback, but the two soon begin to spend more time together.

It has been announced that the anime will be airing on Ultra Super Anime Time on February 5, 2016 with a total of 4 episodes.

Taku Yashiro is a new face so I don't really know how he sounds yet. But yo, he looks like Miyano Mamoru in his photo.

I'm looking forward to this! The synopsis sounds cute. Ahhhh wizard setting. So exciting.

Short anime? I guess I'm not too surprised. Kind of a shame because I like Yamamoto Soubi's style, but better than nothing. Looking forward to hearing the new seiyuu's voice.

So sad, if it's just a 5 minute show, then I wish it was an OVA. Better than Tv with 12 episodes (maybe?) and 5min :(

Anyway, I'm going to watch it for sure.

I don't mind if it's 10 minutes, but if it's less, it's not possible for it to be anything above a 7/10 level.

Oh my God, Ono Yuuki. That's a super nice choice. I've always liked him. Never heard of Taku before but we'll see. Sad that it's going to be a short though...

Ultra Super Anime Time is a special time on Tokyo MX to air 3 anime under 30 minutes, so it will be less than 24 minutes, unfortunately.
