| I like turtles. Do you? Which kind are the best turtles? Let us vote and discuss. Sea Turtle They swim and lay their eggs on the sand to be hatched. Then the new children go back into the sea.  Terrapin (aka pet turtles) They swim sometimes but like walking on land. They are usually smaller in size. They are pretty much a hybrid of sea turtles and tortoises.  Tortoise (aka land turtles) They don't really swim at all and mostly walk on land. They have the most complex diet out of all three as they eat human foods like strawberries and carrots. They are usually very big and some are endangered.  Discuss and share shelly stories. |
