| I know these are unoriginal answers but I'll have to go with Jack the Ripper and Ed Gein. Jack's ambiguity, the fact that he was never caught and the sheer brutality of his crimes make him incredibly interesting. Ed was also one hell of a fascinating fella, especially when you take his upbringing into account. He was raised by a single puritan mother who taught him that all women were evil (with the obvious exception of herself). His legacy is also interesting as his story inspired stories like Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Silence of the Lambs. |
