| Don't be afraid to drop. Just try out random series until you find something that you really want to watch. I recently had that happen to me and somehow starting Sailor Moon worked after FLCL and Bakemonogatari got me bored of anime. |

| you may not want to hear this, but the solution is really to look at anime anyway. i understand how you feel. sure, i enjoyed the ideas of anime and what it was about, but i still hadn't thought about trying it until i looked at myself and thought, "You enjoy anime, but don't look at it? wut." so i put my foot down and looked at an anime, and i was caught. the process took 1 1/2yrs. you don't want that to be you, right? oh yeah, and this: ichii_1 said: watch western shows then you'll realize how crappy they are and you'll come back to anime. well you should really say american, being a BBC freak, those shows are amazing. | It happens to me as well. Usually after I binge watch a lot of anime to the point where I exhaust myself. Just read manga tbh. I alternate between manga/anime every time. |

I've come to the point where I feel like throwing up when watching anime with shitty plot, I used to be not picky about it and watch everything- It's important not to force yourself when you don't feel like watching it, go outside and breath some air or go travel or something for the time being. |
