| i actually like that childhood friend, first good character in the show. Useless exposition MC thought process: trying to get the sword is not working, so i'm going to turn around, close my eyes and try to use the force to get it Blue haired girl held the episode by herself. Hope the inevitable next harem girl does it too so i don't drop this |

| I felt there was some improvement from last week. Probably due to the introduction of Saya's character who I'm really liking. Despite the fact this is just another ecchi harem trope, I'll keep watching. |

| Good episode, I like Saya but I hope the MC isn't going to be OP. I hate those harem protags that are super beta in everything else but are unbeatable bordering on mary sue in fights. There's been so many after Index that it's a worrying trend. |

| like everyone else it's still nothing special but it's still enjoyable to watch i'm just pretending this a phantasy star harem homie just got the hunter greatsword as his weapon too !. and i have to say this has 2 of my favorite songs this season Shiena Nishizawa is showing some promise for her age |

| LN readers claiming those types of anime have a good plot and are original always make me laugh.. it's basically the same fucking thing every time. I'm probably going to end up dropping it but this season alone there's like 4 anime that are the exact same concept.. They then wonder why the anime industry is in shambles. |

| Not bad, a new harem character appeared. An emotionless girl that is badass, wow!~ Now we only have one more harem character left, voiced by Papi and Kurumi's VA, the best girls of Summer 2015. Well it is pretty much generic, but then again there is no such thing left as original. So I have accepted all generic or cliche anime or manga (heck I'm still following the clichiest manga ever called Nisekoi) I'm liking this more than Rakudai actually... maybe because I'm more into harem lol. |

| Nice a new harem. I love the ED song, but no so much on the video. What's with anime and promoting First Girl as the End girl kind of thing? It annoys me so much, especially in harem. If this is a real harem, they should at least make it fair like Nisekoi ED song where all the girls have solos of themselves and when they're singing together, they have equal screen time. |
| Much better episode this time around. We get to meet his childhood friend, Saya! She is definitely my favorite, but Claudia is still a winner for her fan service! I also can relate to Saya better especially the part where she has trouble getting up in the morning! Love how he took control of that Lux and the compatibility of all the characters so far is awesome! |

| Let the harem battle begin! XD That aside, this was a pretty good episode. Even for a tsundere, Julis has already become comfortable around Ayato now. She's already made a friend without realising it yet. She's also pretty jealous of Ayato's kuudere childhood friend, Saya, who's adorable in voice and looks. =3 Julis' power might be impressive, but Saya's more fearsome. Her small structure easily coping with the oversized grenade launcher is intimidation in it's own right. ^^' The OP is still awesome, but the ED took me by surprise, being in English and sound so calm and powerful. I think we might've the ED of the season already. =D |
| Unlike cavalry, i really enjoy this. The girls are likeable, the ending is beautiful, the colors are pretty. Claudia ftw I like MC, he seems pretty powerful, liked the scene with the sword a lot There's not much fanservice, awesome |

| Although I like Rakudai more than Gakusen, Gakusen has superior soundtrack and art and animation. The effort for this show seems rather high, for me that's a reason to look this and the harem and story don't seem like a bad show at all. |

| The narrative is a bit slow and lacking in appeal, I did not like all this waste of time even if it is served to show some things; you could do better. Quality drawings good enough, I noticed that you did not notice the standard black border that often defines the outline drawings. Animations average. I hope it will improve in the future. |

| Thus far they've managed to establish the girls as being different types, but haven't moved on to developing any type of complex character for them. So while this has potential as a good harem, it still has a lot of work to do--it is only episode 2 after all. I don't have any quarrel with a good solid genre show, particularly when it's a genre I enjoy, but something like this isn't likely to get more than an average score from me. However I will keep watching because it is entertaining, if it wasn't I'd stop watching and look for another show. And who knows, maybe that underlying plot they keep hinting at will elevate this above the average. |

| I don't know about you guys, but this episode went by so fast for me, guess I don't know how much I enjoyed it. The childhood friend seemed a bit cookie cutter and the way he tamed the sword like Ocarina of Time was a bit over the top with the slow-mo and all, but that's just my opinion. If the action is played correctly, I'll end up loving this series. ED song is fantastic. |

| Of course the harem wouldn't be complete without a childhood friend of the MC. Overall I think I enjoyed this ep a bit more than the last one. Still curious on who's plotting that "assassination" on Julis. |

| Saya's expression while she shoot that big gun is so priceless. LOL and I just notice from ED that Claudia is actually a dual-wielder and the last heroine is a katana wielder, cant wait to see them in action. btw I like the ED too, it's so beautiful :) NB: after mistakenly think that Asterisk War and Rakudai are the same series; Personally I found that this one seems similar to Blade Dance of course with its harem genre. While Rakudai is more similar to Mahouka with it's unmeasureable MC and single heroine romance. |
