| Yes. How could you start to watch anything if you know nothing about the series to begin with?. The previous seasons introduces the characters and reveal their personalities. Is like if you watch Harry Potter starting for the Book 6. |

You've wasted over 20 hours on a series that you don't like just so you wouldn't hear what some other people say. You could have avoided it being told if you didn't bring up the series at all. There's also at least 2-3 series with 3 movies left so that's going to be another 15 hours or so. |

I don't hate the show, I just think that it's executed in a boring way because all the characters do is talk in too loquacious a manner while barely anything happens until near the end of any story arc, and many arcs end anticlimactically. But the series does have good arcs occasionally, only tainted by the aforementioned excessive loquaciousness. |

I did the same thing with FMA;B, unfortunately it wasn't get any better :( most overhyped series in the world (almost like Death Note and NGNL). But monogatari is something different, it actually IS great from the beginning (second series is the best). So, you can just stop watching, and go for some shounen shit (based on your favlist) . |

But broadcasting order is recommended as some arcs of Owarimonogatari is the prequel to other Monogatari series while other arcs are sequel to some other Monogatari titles.
