If a player decides/needs to change his or her username while FAL is running, the FAL Staff must be notified immediately via private message to FALbot. Swaps, aces, and wildcard requests will be rendered invalid if the player's username has been changed without notifying the staff! Points Criteria Automatically counted points: The following points are counted without any input from the player over the course of the FAL season:

Registration After you have read the rules, made your team, and are ready to register, you can register by PMing FALbot in the format below. You must submit your registration in this format. Copy and paste the anime titles from the list of eligible anime in the next post. Username must be the exact username as on MAL; do not make up another username. Team: Username AnimeTitle#: These are the titles of eligible anime in the next post. AnimeTitle1 AnimeTitle2 AnimeTitle3 AnimeTitle4 AnimeTitle5 AnimeTitle6 AnimeTitle7 AnimeTitle6 and AnimeTitle7 are your bench anime. For example: Registration will need to be done before September 27th, 19:00 UTC for your team to qualify. If there is a problem with this deadline, please feel free to contact the FAL Staff to discuss it. If you change your mind after registering, you may change your team only 1 time until registration ends. Please send the new team in the same format to FALbot and use the message subject Re-registration. |

| Ah so those two sequels are blacklisted. Honestly, I wasn't planning on picking Haikyuu Season 2. I know which sequel I will be picking though. |

| So just a quick heads-up to people who open up all the series to scope them out before making decisions like I do: If you copy and paste Lance N' Masques with that apostrophe from the list above into the Search bar for Anime, it will not find the series. You have to remove the apostrophe. |

| Yay, FAL is back. Not sure how I feel about this season. So many novel adaptations that I haven't heard of and don't really feel comfortable picking. |

K will likely have more viewers simply because it has a lower bar to entry (13 episodes + movie next to Haikyuu's 25 episodes), but it originally aired back in 2012 and its season 1 score is not terribly impressive. So, the series are closer than you might think. "Plan to Watch" numbers are almost identical too. Last season was a lot easier with the choice between SNAFU2, Nisekoi2, and High School DxD Boobs. (Oops, I mean BorN.) SNAFU2 had competitive "plan to watch" numbers PLUS high score/fav PLUS only 13 episodes to watch before jumping into the sequel. It was the obvious pick over AT LEAST Nisekoi2. And if I recall, DxD only had a stupidly high favorite count going for it over SNAFU2. This season, with Haikyuu vs. K., it's harder to call. As an aside, I really like the decision to make people choose between semi-popular sequels. Otherwise choosing my team (this season and last) would have been quite a bit more boring. |

| Picking a list this time was hard. My usually bet is the anime that seems overhyped then the anime made by Madhouse and then the one by Kyoani. And try to avoid harems. But the most popular anime this season is made by Madhouse and rules out... And Kyoani is skipping this season and we get a lot of harems. Well i somehow managed to make a list. |

The extra swap wildcard does two things: 1. It increases your number of possible swaps from 3 to 4. Example: If you swap in weeks 2, 5, and 8, you can choose the extra swap to make a fourth swap in a later week. Or, if you swap in weeks 2, 8, and use the extra swap in week 9, you can still use another swap later (because your total number of swaps was increased to 4). 2. It lets you swap immediately when you use it (but only for that 1 time, since after that, you will have to wait 3 weeks again for the next swap). |
