DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Akane is adorable :3 I have to say that this lady has quite a frightening ability with the swords though:  Pretty tense episode but good to see that it didn't erupt into complete chaos. The background story development story was nice and I got the urban city feel from the episode. |

| There were some interesting revelations in this episode Didn't expect to see that Akabayashi and Anri were connected via something that happened 5-6 years ago......His encounter with her mom, Saika and his former boss was really interesting Overall, this episode ended up making me like Akabayashi A LOT and I really respect the fuck out that man....It's so sweet how he's so close and protective of Anri and Akane and yet at the same time, he's really strong and feared too which I love Great episode overall....Next week is Shizuo x Vorona timeeeeeee :D |

| Akabayashi falling enough after pulling out his eye... now that is something. His character really is quite interesting now. The ways he uses to get the things he wants to get down, quite the enjoyable guy indeed. |

| Akabayashi is great, the most likeable and grounded male character for me. Kinda felt bad for him when Anri´s mom rejected him,but he took it like a man. |

| Well, I guess now we know why Akebayashi cares about Anri so much. However, I was more interested in the visualisation of how being slashed by Saika affected him. Granted, we'd been told it all before, but showing it made it all the more interesting. And who'd have thought that he'd rip his own eye out to stop it? |

| Wow... a guy who would rip his own eye out just to confess to a girl now that is some dedication right there. This episode was quiet interesting, it really make me like Akabayashi as a character more. The animation is the same as ever love it <3 and overall It was great I loved this episode, can't wait till the next one :3 |

Toriyama still draws for DBS(mostly), so why does DBS look 100x better than DB ?. do u even know anything about the animation in the 1st place?. sorry if i came off as rude. It has nothing to do with drawing. the same person who drew for drrr1 is drwin fr drrr2, but the animation quality dropped becoz of budget reasons. they even resorted to grey out strangers which they didnt do often in drrr1. |

| It's not about budget or drawing skills. Studio just don't have enough animators to do everything on time and with best quality. They outsource a lot thats why the qualiyty of x2 is worse than S1. But I still agree that Ten for now looks better than Shou. And it's a passible level. I saw enough series with worse quality |

| Another good episode of Durarara! Definitely liking the pace. And Ayabayashi's hate for drugs just adds to his character. He great guy. =D |

| Pretty good story development. Akabayashi just got more interesting, his VA is badass too. Never expected him to be close to Anri. His confession to her mother was weird as fuck, but that's Durarara for ya. No mains this week, but this anime proves that it can be interesting without showing the main characters always. 4/5, animation could be better |

| That was a really good episode. I really like Akabayashi a lot after I saw his backstory. It was really badass how he took out his eye, and resisted Saika. The thing is that it is very messed who wants to kill who, who is who :D. Although that's one of the beauties of Drrr. |

XD Besides that, not a bad episode at all. These episodes are making me like characters that I never thought I would. Akabayashi is pretty freaking cool. Mika is a stalkerish psychopath that knows basically everything going on. I just want some Mikado development. Badly. He obviously has some awesome character development waiting for him, and I want to see it! Also, would like to see Erika, Simon, and Izaya, but I feel like most of them (Simon especially) will be in the next episode. A Shizuo focused episode awaits! Until next time! |
