I like it, perhaps even better than the previous one (might have to rewatch it a bit though) Decent episode I guess, more like a buildup for Soma and the others. Lol, it was fun seeing Soma and Erina travel in the same car too. Megumi in a nutshell:  The new ED theme song is alright. |

| Nice new op!! But I don't like the ED at all... The music is nice but the singer is terrible... Sorry... Erina is a huge fan of soma's dad :D another good reason for Erina x Soma!! I want to see her reaction when she sees him, it's gonna but kawaii for sure. |

| Revelations in this episode. Erina seems to admire Soma's dad! :o Also dad himself came back and challenged Souma to a cooking contest. Joichiro and Doujima were both elite ten members and made Polar Star rise. I wonder what happened though that Joichiro didn't graduate. OP is amazing! |

| Ahh I missed this series last week. Really solid episode once again, pacing is still fantastic along with the comedy never missing a beat. Soma's dad really is a badass when he throws down. Lol at the girl's fanboying over Joichiro and future Soma. Really disappointed with the ED. The first one was really catchy but this one is just meh. OP is alright I guess, may take some time to get used to. |

| New OP makes this look like an action anime for some reason. The song isn't too bad though, might have to listen to it a few more times. It was nice to see Soma's dad again, and it looks like Erina idolizes him. I wonder what caused him to not graduate, especially since he was so dominant (along with Gin). Soma vs. his father next week, should be exciting Also, I don't really like the new ending |

| I still prefer the first OP. But given time, maybe the new OP will grow on me. Revelations this week were great - adds more flow to the story. Pacing is just fine. Hopefully next episode there'll be a Shokugeki!!! And Hinako Inui is my fave character thus far! |

From the OP u can definitely tell Shokugeki no Souma is a cooking manga XD Poor Hinako being tied up by Shinomiya and the reactions of the others to how she's treated lol So much lol that the chef she admires is Souma's dad XD The faces she made were cute <3 Poor Souma mindfu**ed about his dad being all that grand and everything he didn't know about him XD Even Souma couldn't take that all in :P Time for an epic cooking contest with daddy :D Lol'd at Stalker girl in the ED XD Gonna miss ED1 tho T^T Seems like we're gonna get the qualifications done and the Top8 will be left for a S2? Cool |

| Amazing episode I love the new Op but not fan of the new ending and the OST was perfect in this episode.I hope they won't skip Karaage arc but they might skip it... Erina sure has a crush on Jouichiro but she will just lost conscience if she knew that he is Souma's dad.Anyway really great reaction when everyone knew about Souma's dad and of course his cooking skill.Next episode will be awesome and their 500 matche if i remember.... |

| The new OPs pretty cool, the ED on the other hand sounds really off though... Nice and relaxing episode, it's great to see Souma's dad being all badass again :P |
| Lots of disclosures this episode about Souma's dad, which even Souma himself had a hard time taking all in at once. Joichiro is way more epic that I thought. Looking forward to the 1v1 between dad and son, though Souma will probably end up losing. But it'll be a great contest nonetheless. New OP is better than the first, but the ED is weak. That violin BGM when Erina and Souma were inside the car was pretty neat. |

| The new OP is alright, the Ed is meh, still prefer the first Op. The introduction to the old history behind the cooking academy was interesting. The next episode doesn't seem to exciting, though. |
They all look so cute. One of my favorite foodgasms so far.  Starting to like Erina even more after this ep. Can't wait to see her reaction once she learns the guy she admires is Soma's Dad.  Aww, they changed the ending. OP2 > OP1 but ED1 > ED2 I still think it was an interesting ED. |

| The camp ends...and Erina gets a ride with Soma. The person that Erina admire turns out to be Soma's dad...I wounder when she find out, what would she think...as for now she have not find out yet (in the manga as well). Those three girls after eating Soma's dad cooking...damn lewd. Megumi still best girl. |

| I wonder why Soma's dad became a Yukihira. Maybe it was Soma's mother's family name and they happened to own the restaurant. I got a lot of speculations now. Maybe his dad did not finished school because he met Soma's mom. Wait, she could've be a member of the Elite Ten! Now, Soma X Erina is a possible strong couple since they're like Soma's parents if I'm not mistaking. |

| Like the new OP. The singer in the new ED has a weird voice but it's not bad (just not as catchy as the first ED). | First time my ears started bleeding from listening to the ending song. Oomori Seiko. Apparently she sings weirdly on purpose, to be anti-idol. While it is very peculiar, it is... well it is just shit, no sense of rhythm, tone deaf... I listened to another song by her just to compare with the ending and it's the same shit. |
This show had just about everything I liked about the series... expect the ending sequence. While I like the heavy shounen feel from the new opening, the ending theme looks like a character specific song (I hope). Either way, its good to see the demon back! He is "so manly" and we was also quoted to be more "gentler" then he used to be XD |

| Weird ending song were those lyrics even real words? I like the instrumental music and visuals though. And new opening; 1st OP song > 2nd OP song 2nd OP visuals > 1st OP visuals And I can't wait to see Erina's reaction when she learns who Souma's father is. But I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be such an obvious plot twist. |

| I'm not saying it's an asspull or anything, just, idk, she could be fan of anybody, but we're looping back towards Souma when the storyline could have expanded elsewhere. Not that it's bad, it's probably to ascert how skilled Shura is, and if it's convincingly done, why not? |

| The new opening is so cool! It definitely gives more of a "shonen anime" feel, while also keeping the focus on cooking. And the song is kickass, too. The ending is, uh...not what I would have expected. I like it a lot, and I'm happy that it focuses on Nao since I love her, but it seems like a really strange choice. |
