| He's not really posting content on MAL through its UI. Setting clubs are Secret could help little to nothing if he has exceptions targeted - write a few things down and you can penetrate them all. Though I doubt that's the case. For now, just let your club members know about it in the layout and the comments section, as well as ask them to keep away for the time being. "At your own risk, but thank you for helping/worrying". Only when this matter will be solved globally through the website it will be elsewhere as well, clubs included. You can probably understand what I mean by that. |

| This may be related but has anybody noticed that a lot, and I mean A LOT of older threads have been bumped all over site with the striking similarity between all of them being that the last person to reply to them (the bumper) deleted their repies? Could this be SSJMaster? MAL is reallly not safe atm. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?board=16 The anime recommendation board seems to be particulary affected by this. |

| As a heads up, I just got a "security verification" pop up from a German hosted site for MAL, I closed it out, which in turn logged me out from MAL, so the problem may not be 100% fixed. If I get it again I'll take a Screenshot. |

| It's kind of surreal seeing people on here not know who SSJMaster is after dealing with him for so many years. I mean, duh, naturally new users who haven't gone through his hacks yet wouldn't know a thing, but still. Maybe Crave-less MAL will shut him down for good. Probably not though. |

| MAL is unprotected as ... some examples: MAL is using HTTP basic auth (All apps store your password and username) MAL is using cookies to auth (Just use some method to intercept it and let it make request trough the victim) Basically you can create a simple plugin or something else and let users use it. Apply an update and which will pass their information and done. BTW if a mod will use it you can do bigger things with it. Forgot to mention that there is an anime app called AniRelease outside and inside the playstore. The version outside the playstore is trying to steal account information on Rooted devices (based on reports by security crashes). |
