Oh wow poor Asako...

The episode focuses more on Yuuji and J.B.'s relationship after Asako is gone. I guess it feels slightly different but nonetheless, they seem to be working well.

Some of the girls' response doesn't surprise me though after finding out about Yuuji's past. Looks like his assignment is someone he is quite familiar with. That cliffhanger though D:

Well Asako's death was about as sad and rough to get through as I figured it'd be. Done with the flashbacks though, so the story can move forward.

It's nice to have a friend who you can have sex with anytime. JB is second best MILF.

LOL. They just ignored the facts that he already fucked two women numerous times before meeting them. Hahaahh

Poor Asako. May she rest in peace. Yuuji's breakdown at the end was well done. I wonder who was talking at the end? And Rakuen can finally start now.

Another great episode.
But I don't understand why he wasn't kill him?! Yeah, childhood trauma, but I really don't understand what stopped him. Shouldn't it be easier job for him? Killing a man which is hated?

When Asako said it is going to be a "short" friendship, and the music after it made an emotion overflow.

Yuuji crying to that point too. This was a fine episode, his time with JB and then his journey of self-discovery.

Heath's reappearance... it makes me assume how the intelligence agency isn't that great to use Yuuji for the mission.

How the hell is JB a MILF?

Good episode this week to, but I was kinda expecting more of a reaction from the girls.

Wow, that was one of the best episodes.
But finally, we can get to see the plot.
The end of the episode was so amazing, I really can't wait for next episode! ;D
I hope Yuuji gonna kill this guy.

Okay let me get this out of the way, When Asako died, I started to feel man tears running down my face.
I knew she was going to die but damn that was rough, this anime is beyond words..Im loving every ep this season (I even enjoyed S1)

I didn't think that him and JB would have sex after Asako died, but who was I kidding.
I'm glad to be back with the Main "Harem" again, hope they all make it and have a happy ending.

Was that little girl voice who I think it was?

Friggin awesome episode :D Yuuji got friggin MINDF***ED at the end. Oslo's "I have returned" was creepy :O

Yuuji directly asking "Asako are u gonna die?" was funny for some reason XD
Quite a feelz conversation tho. It was damn weird hearing and seeing Yuuji crying like a baby :3

VN readers...who's the loli that Yuuji was guarding at the start? Is she important?

Dat Loli Julia So cute <3<3 I didn't know she and Asako knew each other that long :O

JB's face when she was asking Yuuji if he used her toothbrush was so lol and her voice was cute <3

"U'll be lonely without me won't u? Like at night" :3 They were getting it on every night? Well I'm not surprised. Who'd miss a chance with that Julia body <3

"Julia I love u"
"Are u drunk?"

"Sorry, would u like to touch my Butt"

Lots of fun moments XD

But yeah shit's about to get real >.<

Asako's death was certainly emotional and well handled. And I just knew that it would be Oslo at the end. The only thing I don't understand is that weird voice near the end (which I'm guessing relates to the glowing tubes that were shown when the voice first started talking). What was that, I wonder?

Aaaand finally done with Meikyuu~

The ending doesn't quite have the same absurd cliffhanger effect that the VN did but I don't think that was possibly to pull off no matter what so I can't really complain about that

And now... well we plunge head first into the utter lunacy and absurdity of Rakuen's True route... have fun people, you're in for something quite spectacular (and I mean that in a very weird sense lol)

Man, Takahiro Sakurai as Yuuji is really good. He always held a monotone voice throughout the series but when his voice cracked, I tripped into some feels.

That voice at the end though. I have two candidates of who it might be, one more likelier than the other.
Missing the times of Rewrite, good times.

Hmm that mission from the first division sounded fishy right from the start... I guess Yuuji has been dragged into it now. It also looks like we are finally done with Yuuji's past, very detailed and well paced.

anyway rip asako, may you and John find peace on that mountain.

Meikyuu finally ended, took longer than expected in the end. Its a shame Meikyuu got the right focus instead of the way better Kajitsu, but welp, who cares at this point lol

Im hyped for Rakuen and the Open Fire Chapter <3 Its gonna be a fun watch after withstandin' so much crap from the Kajtisu adaption.

A man hated by the country, but I don't recall Kazami hating him (From the episodes I've seen, maybe in the VN it's stated?).

Heath Oslo and Asako Kusakabe were both mentors to Kazami, teaching him their own values.

My guess is that Kazami couldn't kill him because of what he had taught him.

That's not how i felt, it seemed to me it was due to yuuji's mental scarring that oslo put him through caused him to have a breakdown.

Asako's death wasn't as sad as i thought it would be, but there was still some high emotion stirred up by JB and Yuuji and their suffering. I can't remember Yuuji breaking down and crying like that before. He's always so stoic. And it's too bad Yuuji won't be able to tap that Asako ass anymore, but at least it looks like he has JB to compensate. Even though she reminds him of Asako. :/

With this, Meikyuu comes to an end. And what an amazing adaptation it was.

While Asako's death was even sadder in the VN, it was still enough to make me tear up. Bravo 8-Bit, you're outdoing yourselves. Looking forward to how you handle Rakuen.

I think as well as most of you that the person in the end with that annoying voice was

I don't usually like some MC or who ever is to die in anime but I think after all the suffering Yuuji has gone maybe if he died when he saves 5 or 10 people then he can die in peace. When he asked himself "Where do people go when they die" "Will I go where Asako went" that line made me so sad , like I want him to meet with her once again ..

This season is really good so far but I have to say the animation, although good overall, didn't do justice to Takahiro's acting on Yuuji's grieving moments. Was really impressed with how emotional he made his character to be.

Good episode, showed the final moments of Asako and the relationship of Yuji and JB after she died, but I'm finding odd a little the personality of Yuji, who in the first season was always so strong and decisive is looking like much weaker, but now with the end of this arc, I am very excited about the continuation of this adaptation ..

Same guess here. Even if I am someone who havent tried the VN but actually saw some VN pictures online, this is the same conclusion I can think of. Beside, this match pretty well with picking Yuuji for the mission + Kajitsu story.

Heck, I cried buckets this time. It was not until this episode that I really felt Yuuji's bond to Asako. JB seemed like she was more in need of Yuuji than the other way around. And there were some pretty fun moments, too. But I want to know the fate of Kazuki, for god's sake, I was already interested in her back in Kajitsu, and Mekyuu only teased me more. How the heck did that girl escape the forest without supplies and hungry as hell? By the way, how come a lot of people here have already read the novel? I thought only Kajitsu had been translated so far.
