| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, I just love Shizuo in this show. His pissed off face is just priceless. Meanwhile, we see Vorona making her move and I like that trusty bike of hers. (not as much as I like Celty's though) Rating this first cour 8/10. Felt the first arc was a bit rushed and animation quality was meh but the second half made it up. |

| OnoD's character saying he's quitting Dollars... and holding that lady's bike to break the fighting atmosphere is lol. She's also shocked at OnoD's character's power when he chases her. Celty also came to help out in rescuing the girl. The group wanting to relax after the fight, which ended in confusion, and the main guy apologizing to that womanizer guy, who suggesting him to quit being Dollars' leader. That yakuza incident, too, ended in confusion. It seems like those who got killed are not important. The lady is excited to fight against Celty and OnoD's character again, but got the mission cancelled by a yakuza. The main guy accepted Shimono-san's character's request so he can get power to improve Dollars. He's scary when mad, though. A guy who attacked HiroC's character... Cannot wait for Summer season, and ep. 4.5. |

| Probably one of my favorite episodes of an anime ever. So much happened at once. I'm super excited for Durarara Ten now. |
| Lots of stuff happened -Shizuo quits Dollars -Vorona and Sloan, especially Sloan, getting screwed - Ryuugamine getting told he's too normal for the underworld of Ikebukuro - Slowly going full edge finally accepting Aoba's offer because of what Rocchi told him Shizuo didn't disappoint me by the way. I've been waiting for him to spring into action the entire cour. See everyone in 3 months! |
| The "Don't mess with me/us" vibe by almost everyone! Shizuo kicking that car as a shield, making his own holding when he needs it, Shizuo was awesome. Rescuing Akane like that. Chikaga is really quite the nice person though. The yakuza paying the kidnappers back like that was man, Durarara really knows how to make people want more! Mikado with his fury and him leading Blue Square with a force of his own :O Can't wait for 2nd cour though! This was enjoyable as always and especially by the end. |

| Well that was quite the finale :O Shizuo's BAness was overload was awesome!! Kicking a care like a ball XD Varona got REKT! Not just against him but also against the Awakusa. They're quite formidable and she's way more of a green bean than I expected. Even with all her experience, Ikebukuro is insane lol...Well she had fun at least :P Mikado's part with Aoba was quite something! Damn! He friggin just stabbed his hand with no hesitation all serious like that O_o I wonder how he'll change from here because what he got himself into isn't something that can be easily ignored. His life is gonna change from now that's for sure. Dat Cliffy with Izaya doe :O I've heard about it from spoilers but it was another thing seeing it happening. I wonder if he'll be absent from the entirety of S3? I don't think he's dead that's for sure. So Anri gets tickled when she's groped? :O Sucks that the twins didn't appear again after the first arc much D: 8/10 for this season. Not as fun as S1 but the first few eps and the last ep was quite a lot of fun :D |

| So many awesome things happened in this one episode =o Shizuo quit the dollars and Russian Sushi closed down for a while - Speaking of Shizuo, he did not disappoint at all in this epsidoe. The way he easily ran through the gang fight (Rekt that fat fuck cunt) and Vorona was just boss level...Dude tanks stab wounds like it's nothing xD The part with Vorona and Sloan at the end was brutal as fuck.....It saddens me to see how my favorite girl isn't all that tough when compared to the big boys....This alliance between the mafia and the yakuza has got to play a bigger role sometime later in the future and I can't wait to see it play out....Poor Sloan got the short end of the stick though and I liked what they said about how kids are scary because they can change because it transitioned perfectly into the next scene Mikado is fucking bi-polar LOL....The way he just too charge of the Blue Squares and just owned Aoba and had that sick sadistic look on his face only to go back to being his regular self one second later creeped me the fuck out xD My goodness I am going to LOVE seeing where his character goes....I hope Anri gets a lot better as well because she surprisingly had a tough time against Vorona Other than that, I liked how Kadota and Rocchi are pretty much besties now and that for the most part his gang and the dollars are at peace and holy shit.....Izaya got stabbed O_O I did not see that coming...Whomever that guy is that did is VERY DANGEROUS if he can pull off something like this Overall I'd give this cour an 8/10 and I'm looking forward to the next cour :D |

| Wait.... What?! It's unfair to end the series with Izaya like that!! Such a tease!! Anyway, I think this episode more or less resolved itself before adding in more darker elements to the Durarara!! universe. I'm interested to see what this dark Mikado will do with Aoba to rectify the Dollars. Here's hoping that the next season will be done well! |
| Damn,i almost want to give this 10 just for Izaya getting stabbed :'D but nah...anyway,other highlights...Shizuo is perfect. Walker did open his eyes like OO...that was cute. Mikado stabbing Aoba's hand...he is truly unsettling character,i like. The Russian,as always...too bad my Russian roommie is on a trip,otherwise we would have had nice laugh together. Waiting for July~ |
| One of the best episodes! Also, definitely my favorite show this season. 9/10 However, I don't think I'll be able to wait until July (especially considering that cliffhanger). In other words, I gotta finish the LNs |

| If you have trouble sleeping, eat a shark. Does it help? If it does I would eat a shark everyday. This show had its ups and downs. Good thing I skipped most of the character introductions that season 1 had to go though. 6/10 It didn't have enough Shizuo |

| Damn, the end was pretty badass. It was funny how innocent he got after he stabbed his hand :P. That very last scene was crazy, though. Hopefully this will give Izaya more screen time in the next part? 8/10 for the first cour, first half of the first cour was a bit stale but I enjoyed it in the end. Looking forward to the next! |

| Great finale for this cour, I wasn't expecting it to be so good since we're still in the middle of things. I'm kinda torn on my rating, had this been animated by Brain's Base like S1, it'd probably be a cut and dry 9/10 since I thought the writing was better overall and the new characters are really interesting. However the new studio has some pretty big flubs with the animation particularly in episode 7 I believe it was. Either way I'm super excited for the next two seasons, its going to be excellent. |

| This episode was easily the best :D I don't read the light novels so Mikado really surprised me, that was awesome. Also, the last couple minutes with Izaya and the guy who called himself Jinnai were great. I love it when Izaya loses to someone, his arrogance is aggravating. I'm excited for the next part now. Overall though it was 7/10, the animation wasn't the best, OST was kinda meh, and I didn't feel like it was really enjoyable until the last couple of episodes. |

| Shizuo is still the best character in this show and Izaya finally got his shit pushed. Pretty content with that. But l still found this season to be kind of mediocre overall so l can't say l'm too motivated to continue watching the next seasons. It'd be nice if future seasons were way more focused than this one. There were quite a few new characters introduced with little relevance here. Not to say that they won't be relevant in the future, but there are characters from the first season that were pretty much non-existant here so I don't much hope for these new guys. l would still prefer a smaller more focused cast as opposed to this big huge one since that would get rid of my problem, but oh well. |

| Amazing end to an amazing serious. Both 10/10 in my book. How is it that, despite being a centuries old, headless, undead rider from Ireland, Celty manages to be the most normal individual in the show? Shizuo is just so damn badass, he sets a new standard. Just gotta love the guy for being as blaise as he is. I kind of want him to end up with Varona though, for some reason they look like they'd make for a cute couple and I think it's about time Shizuo gets some love. I never thought I would say this, but this episode has me convinced Ryūgamine is the scariest character on the show. The way he switched personalities so quickly and so violently is something else. And I sure as hell did not see Izaya getting punked like that coming. It's going to be interesting to see how that unfolds in the next season. |

| That Shakugana no Shana reference I still feel like Mikado is trying to hard to fit in :/ His character annoys me, but all the other characters make up for it. This is probably my favorite in season anime. 9/10 |
