Whats the odds they adapt this properly?
| I just pray that madhouse studios has a MASSIVE budget for this anime. Ppl don't realize that proper adaptations are extremely rare nowadays. Sure we are gonna get an anime, but will it have proper animation quality? will they be able to capture the art of the manga? will the pacing be good? These are all things that happen very rarely and for ppl to get thier hopes up is foolish imo. There are prolly a maximum of 2-3 anime adaptations a year that actually capture the manga source material properly..my fingers are crossed |

| To be honest it's fairly unlikely. One Punch Man imo has always been one of the types of manga that won't work as an anime very well due to how amazing the art is. |

| If they want to adapt this properly, 10mins per episode is the best answer. Since it works perfectly with the pacing, and would help provide better animation and art. |
| Please don't screw up this series. I think they should do like Parasyte but adapt right after it ends... To me is not a question of "masterful art" being adapted, but since the manga releases smal chapters rarely I believe they will do a bunch of original and irrelevant content, that's my fear. To almost every other series this would not be a problem, but One-Punch is complex and satirical about super-heroes universe(Marvel, DC), if they do this half-heartly it will only make it a plain anime. Still I'm looking forward to a good anime but won't get my expectations up... |

| Hasn't Gintama been green lit for another anime in april or something though? I doubt quality will be too good if sunrise is indeed working on OPM as well |

Look, the art of Blade of the Immortal (Manga) is hands down one of the best ever, but the anime version is a complete disgrace. I'm so jealous that Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso has better animation than Blade of the Immortal, can't we get a PROPER adaption for One Punch man for goodness sakes!!! lol calm down. The show is yet to air, and there isn't any info yet about which studio is doing it. If they can't do Murata's art justice, I hope they go with ONE's art, it'll be even more awesome. |

| I'm not expecting the art to be as great as the manga's but I'm still excited to watch it. I care more about animation quality and choreography with action anime anyways. |
| While Madhouse's art style fits what One Punch Man is like, if you expect a 'good adaptation' to be one that fully replicates the art of the manga then it won't be one. Anime and manga are different. Other than the art who knows what they'll do. If they want to make a good and long anime then they'd need padding, the chapters are just too short. |

| i've been following that show since the web comic so in my mind it doesn't really need high quality animation. Voice actors and direction will make or break this for me so i think it has a decent change of being good. |

| If the studio does a good job (or not) adapting it, only time will tell. No matter the studio in charge, I won’t give them the benefit of the doubt until I have seen at least a couple (usually 6) of episodes of the series. | Madhouse have almost never delivered a good adaptation. The only good adaptation they did that came to my mind is Aoi Bungaku Series. Otherwise, everything they produced were pure disappointment. |

| Reading the old comments is quite amusing. I'd say as of now Madhouse really seems like a perfect fit for this series if the first episode is anything to go by, but for me the real test will be when chapter 26 gets adapted. That was one of my favourite chapters of any manga I've read, so if they don't do it justice I'll be very disappointed. If they somehow manage, though, all hail Madhouse. |

Let's face it, if it didn't have such a crappy adaptation it would have been the next SNK. You have to read TG from beggining to the end to understand why we fans are complaining, don't get fooled by the first chapter or baseless haters. There are tons of scenes which are missing from the anime and large chunks of each arc were cut, fucking parts that were important for character development and logic. Not to mention than MC at the start was acting even more pathetic than he was in the first volumes of the manga. Also, Root A and it's events didn't happen in the manga. Well, some of them did happened, but in the manga they weren't altered or presented in such a pathetic way. |
