| I'd try to participate in this, but I find every character poorly written as they're all just characters and shouldn't really be taken to be equal to humans in any way. They're just a mere reflection on certain behaviors that certain people show and drawn to look at least a bit humanoid, but they are created by people to have specific traits and always do one thing in a particular situation or be affected in a certain way. Real people can not be categorized in that way and personality is just a basis really, we have the opportunity and possibility to do anything within reason (no magic). And they, do not. No matter what Light is always going to use the notebook. If he didn't it wouldn't be in his character, but in real life somebody could go against their own character despite that. And development is a lie. They don't become any better of a person, just learn new knowledge which might slightly change the way they act or think not changing the fact that they are themselves, but seriously Lucy from Fairy Tail if I had to pick somebody. She is really shallow. |

I always kinda thought that suskey was developed better then him, his development gave him layers and even more depth then naruto. Naruto just gained power-ups along the way, there was no actual character growth. All in all it is a good series, but flaws are inevitable in a long runner, i guess. |
