| I don't care about the relationship of Shinichi and Ran, and I really enjoy the episodic mysteries. Simple as that. |

| Honestly... it seems bizarre to me how this has gone on for over 700 episodes and yet Ran still doesn't know the truth, and Shinichi still has to sneak around and pretend to be Conan. After this many episodes something annoying like that gets REALLY FREAKIN OLD!!! I mean damn, just tell the girl already. As someone else mentioned, Shinichi is actually a cooler character to begin with. One of the reasons I'm not too fond of Detective Conan is that I don't understand why he has to be in a kid's body in the first place. It's like the author wanted to make it appeal to a younger audience, but the way he does it is annoying. And the worst part is that he has to pretend to be a kid and has those other kids follow him, and frankly it seems like absolutely no one likes those damn kids that follow him everywhere in the first place. Its a shame because I think the anime also has a lot going for it. Just shoots itself in the foot all the damn time. |

The Raven Mystery Train at episode 701 is the real beginning black organization case. any case came before this arc just a prologue. so yes even pass 2000 episodes might not ever end. i only care black organization storyline,careless about filler case of the week. |
| Do people still watch this anime? It has been about 11 years since I stopped watching it for good! I got old and graduated from middle/ high and university and Ran is still in high school!!! Even though I loved the anime when I was a kid, I don't think I have the patience to wait another 20 years just to see how it will end! |

| reasons i love the anime: 1. black organisation arcs 2.kaitou kid 3. akai shuichi 4.hattori heiji 5. shinichi kudo episodes be it flashbacks or episodes when he get his body back 6. the mystery surrounding vermouth as why she does not age... reasons i skip episode/hate the anime sometimes: 1. the fucking annoying kids -__- especially genta and ayumi..... 2.mori kogoro .....he always get in the way in cases well that was in the early episodes now he actually dont get in the way of conan anymore.. 3. inspector megure stupidity, how can an inspector be so stupid how did he even get that position when hes that stupid....cant he solve cases alone? before mori he was getting help from shini and before shinichi help from shinichis dad so hes just worthless and useless so as the entire police force in the exception of takagi and sato 4.why dont they find it weird that kogoros mouth dont move and that sleep everytime during a case? another proof of most of the characters stupidity its as if gosho aoyama made everyone stupid even the POLICE to show how smart shinichi/conan is....... for a reality like manga theres really some questionable things like the TIMELINE ...what? only 1 YEAR HAS PASSED? the fuck is this? 5. anyway i always skip episodes featuring those damn kids, or that annoying and stupid rookie inspector(forgot his name) so yeah i think this should end before the mangaka dies on us!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| i think the police solve cases off camera without the help of detectives. There are a few cops that seem capable of solving cases on screen with out the help of detectives. On camera some of of the seem to want the cases to end too quickly that they rush through cases and get things wrong leading to the arrest of innocent people. Even Conan gets it wrong during cases. When the cops and detectives work together without snapping at each other they can solve the case with few problems. If kogoro and the police didn't jump to conclusions so quickly during cases, did not assume the evidence leads to some ones arrest without getting all the information they might actually arrest the right person. I Learned from an episode of Adam Ruins everything that the one forensic science that works well is dna evidence testing. Eye witness statements can be unrealibe. Finger print analysis is done by people not computers. That memories can be altered during cases to lead people to saying they are guilty. The memory can be edited like Wikipedia articles. Sure detective Conan has its good and bad qualities but I have learned a lot from the show. I do find conans voice to be annoying at times. I think detective Conan may be based on The original collection of Aoyama's short stories. What does the meaning of "END" ? :/ XDXDXDXD Of course I was joking :) If It won't end , then I probably wish from my big bro (He's studying chemistery) to make a drug for Conan to turn back his original size. Or I will dive into the screen to kill Ran and the Black guys (yeah , I got the drugs!) and marry with Shinichi. Another way : I can kill Ai to make a drug for Shinichi .
