| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was interesting, to see a bit of the priest's past. Wasn't very pleasant but whatever. Yoon is quite an independent kid and I like his relationship with Iki-Soo; imo one of the kindest characters of the entire series. But yeah, kinda thought this episode was refreshing seeing some other characters being focused on their background stories. Welcome to the journey though. |

| So that request is to bring that another guy along That little guy not only made the cloth, but also fix her hair. He doesn't have any intention of going out, so the princess couldn't ask him. lol @ how they first met. Though it shows how little guy tried to survive and how worried about that "god" guy. They developed a nice bond of helping out. An ep. for the little guy to decide to go along. Travel begins and Princess learns archery. |

| Seeing how Ik-su and Yoon's living together came to be. Yoon applying medicine after having hurt Ik-su ^^ It was nice to see Yoon making a living by making straw sandals and wanting Ik-su to come back. Finding the words and saying that he wants to go. It was cute seeing both of them cry together a little before Yoon's departure. Yona seems quite the natural on the usage of bows and arrows! |

| Another beautiful episode :*3 Liked Yona's hair before she evened it out more :/...well since I'm a manga reader I'm used to this hair too ^^ Her outfit looks really nice :3 Lol'd at Yona billing all that stuff to Mun-deok XD Ik-su sure is quite something else. He's too kind :*) Dem feelz during the flashback were so heartwarming T^T Yona's pouting face was kawaii when Hak told her she's a burden Let the journey begin :D Ki-ja nxt? And a glimpse of Yona training with the bow :3 |

 Mah feels!! Another very poignant and touching episode that delved into the backstory of Iku-Su and Yoon. By the end, you really understand why it is such a hard decision for Yoon to leave and set out on this new journey. Yona just continues to roll strong every week with no signs of slowing down. I love it. The only fault that I could find was the lack of Yona x Hak but that is excusable just this once :) And in the next episode, things look to be getting rolling with Yona having a bow training montage amongst other things. Bring it on. |

| Well...That was some touching story...Really liked the flashback...I have a feeling that priest guy will come to their aid at some crucial point later in the story... That scene after Ik-su sold his shoes he was supposed to be wearing sandals but he had same shoes when he was leaving...I guess they forgot it :/ |

| Wow thanks Studio Pierrot again for this wonderful adaptation! Please don't screw things up like White Fox! That back story of Ik-su and Yun make me almost cry and even more when both of them departed. And there Yun the "Tensai Bishounen" joined Yona and Hak with their journey to find the "Legendary Four Dragon Warriors", I can't really wait for the Next Episode next week! I'm looking forward to it! | One word to describe this episode: Beautiful. Man, that was some story of Yun and Ik-su, t'was really touching I almost burst into tears. The way the studio adapted it was really amazing, GJ Pierrot. Can't wait for next ep. |

| The soundtrack was great during this episode. The 'old' OP is back, I liked last week's. -Resident- said: Great way to flesh out some of the characters before the long journey begins. The pacing has been very balanced so far. Yoon's a proven handyman, they really do need him. Ik-su has shown some signs of independance. Though he and Yoon were living nicely together. A bit sad to see them depart like that. I almost wished he didn't go with Yona & Hak but at least he's gonna get a lot of screen time which is a great thing, I love him. |

| Nice episode overall. They are spending a lot of time on the characters stories and past. It will be beneficial if they end up killing one of them. That Yun guy is such a show-off. "a handsome genius" "only flaw is that he's handsome" LOLs. Can't wait to see the kawaii Yona and friends start their journey. Yona will learn archery and become cool too. The worst part was when Yona had her hair cut shorter. Her kawaiiness has decreased. |
| I like how casually Yun brags about being a Tensai Bishounen. Can't really argue with that. Yona still look just as cute with her short hair. Miss her long hair to an extent though.. Loved the heartwarming flashback with them feels.. Ik-su, why you're so kind? >.< Seeing him cry saying he'll be lonely to have Yun leave was really sad. T_T Good episode. Looking forward to Yona's training session next week. |

| This episode as so touching ;__; I was no where near crying when I read this part in the manga, but damn, the feels in the anime. Yoon and Ik-soo's backstory was beautiful, and you can really understand the depth of their relationship very well after the flashback. I love how Ik-soo is so honest, that even though he wants Yoon to see the world, he will still really miss Yoon. And I think that really reassures Yoon to leave. Yoon also understands that Yona is just ignorant, so it's not like he doesn't like her. Looking forward to them officially starting their adventure in the search for the dragons~ Also, why did they switch back the OP :( |

| Yeon is such a tsundere. Tsundere boy are weird, but cute in some ways. So Yona look is now completed, thanks to Yeon. I just love that short hair so much :3 It was a cute episode in overall. A bit too long since it's a character I feel we won't see back in quite some time, but it was a good episode nonetheless. I need more oblivious Yona! |

| Incredibly great episode. May have not seemed much plot wise, but character development was amazing. Ik-su's and Yun's relationship was so beautiful to watch progress and unfold. Let's see where our trio will go next! |

| Ik-Su's eyes creep me out. I wish they'd stop showing them. This ep was way better than the last one, though. Even though pretty much nothing happened in regards to the plot, it was actually interesting and flowed way better. I don't really like Yun much (he's that typical sorta dickish shoujo male with an edgy backstory that I just... don't like) but his history with Ik-Su was pretty cute. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be so engaging, especially within his generic "I was poor as a kid" routine. |

| I kinda liked the animation of the new OP they used in the previous ep better than the normal one, or at least a combination of both to some degree would have been best. Feeling a bit concerned for the show, if it's going to be 2-cour then we are moving hella slow. |

| I have no complaints! This episode was great. I didn't have high hopes for Akatsuki no Yona, but I just keep getting pleasantly surprised! This is moving at exactly the pace I want. Just when I start to get antsy about the story not moving along it falls right into position, and with a very touching parting. I could definitely empathize with the characters. All of them are so great. Gahhhh my bubbly feels. =D I REALLY hope they stay strong like this all the way to the end. Please don't Samumenco me. T_T |

Like right when Yun is about to see him again after they find all the dragons. Probably too much to ask for, though. Either way, he's a great character. |
| So far, each episode moves progressively forward with the plot, different settings and more character development. I love each character's diverse personalities. Can't wait to see all of the dragons meet each other and interact. There isn't a thing I don't like about this anime and I hope it continues *O* |

| I really like Ik-su's character. And man, those eyes of his. They're far more piercing than Yona's, imo. It was a pretty good backstory for Yun and Ik-su, in any case. Hopefully we'll see more of Ik-su in the future. |
