| According to a tweet from a person who attended the movie's premiere, it was announced at the end of Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 1: Guren no Yumiya that Shingeki no Kyojin 2nd Season will air in 2016. Also announced was the premiere date of Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 2: Jiyuu no Tsubasa, which will be June 27, 2015. | This isn't very surprising imo. Wit Studio is involved in at least two projects next year - Rolling Girls for Winter and Seraph of the End sometimes in 2015. Also, let's not forget about the OVAs that will debut soon. Anyways, I expect this to come out sometimes in mid-2016 to adapt another 2 cour show. |

| I really thought it will be sometimes in 2015 but I can wait for some more. Can't believe I'll be that older during second season and it will mark my longest wait duration for a sequel as I started watching Anime in January of 2013. It's good to think that one of the first series I picked was worth the value in my Anime history. |
