Nice to see Mahouka's Selling is going really strong despite how crappy the anime adaption is, and 122K sellings only after 2 weeks the release of Volume 14 ? That's really great.

We really need to have monster musume anime. What's keeping them from making a major money maker?

And also shokugeki no soma.

Recently there was a poll announcement asking the viewers about how they would feel about an anime adaptation.

With the continued rising success of this series in both japan and the west, it will almost certainly be announced soon, i think it is because they dont have sufficient material yet since only 27 chapter are so far.

I can't wait for them to make it. It would an interesting new perspective in exploring the Harem Genre which in recent years has become over used with the same plot points, this one is rather unique compared to most.

Let's do some math XD

Last showed SNK rankings
1,653,516 normal edition (w6) + 209,744 limited edition (w2)= 1,863,270 total

Limited edition fell out of the ranking in it's 3rd week meaning it sold less than 24 K (the cut off line)
20K (more or less) x 4 weeks = 80K
1,863,270 + 80,000 = 1,943,270

In short One Piece 10 days sales >>> SNK 6 weeks sales ;)

(sigh)

Why are people trying to make a competition out of this?

The two mangas couldn't be any more different.

For the record, I like One Piece more than Attack on Titan but I think Attack on Titan will have the higher number of sales this year. One Piece sales have reached saturation point.

Also, those are some nice sales for Kamachi's new series Mitou Shoukan:// Blood-Sign. It seems to have been received quite well.

Nanatsu no Taizai getting an anime adaptation soon, but none of the volumes even rank in the Top 50?

Nice to see World Trigger there though, which is also getting an anime adaptation soon, despite ranking at #30.

So it's because the latest volume was released 3 months ago (while the latest volume of World Trigger was just released this month).

And several volumes of Tokyo Ghoul are in the Top 50 probably because the manga has finished recently.

Not really. Tokyo Ghoul was in the Top 50 weeks before the "manga was ending" announcement. The anime actually has to boost the manga for it to appear in the Top 50. Look at Akame ga Kill, the boost was not enough for it to appear in the weekly top 50 manga.
