| Nice! We got to see Sanji's incarnation in camel's form. I loved the moment where Luffy took a *sip* of the water. |
| I enjoyed this ep overall, but part of it was frustrating. Is it me, or have they been making Luffy like super ultra mega retarded as of recently? And having him suddenly take all the luggage just to lose it to some birds seemed like bad writing to me. As well as Vivi repeatedly saying "I forgot to mention". Kinda made the episode seem like the author was free-styling with the plot even though I know this follows the manga. Ace remains awesome throughout the episode, although he seems very... distant. I wonder if the heat gets to him at all? Probably not. |

| Fun episode. Even though not much happened apart from desert antics it has done the job of making us feel the amount of time and distance the crew is traveling together, so that's a plus. Ace was a bit brooding and mysterious this episode though.. it made me curious. Those bandit birds made me so infuriated. I've never wanted to punch a bird more than I do when I see their faces. And I'm glad Camel's joined them, he's pretty funny. Guess he's the replacement for Karoo as Karoo is gone. |
| Vivi really should've made a better effort of telling everyone about the dangers of the desert a bit sooner because it's one thing after another over there. They're getting by quite well though and they even had the camel join the party. |

| Well it seems Vivi also forgot the most important part of travelling through a desert on foot.. You walk at night whilst it's cool and then find shelter/shade during the day time. At least that's my understanding. But I guess seeing the characters suffer through the heat makes for a much more entertaining story. Also, what happened between sanji and nami? I must have missed something during the episode... |

| I wonder why Luffy's brother is acting a bit strange and distant in this episode... Lowkey was getting a bit annoyed w/ Vivi--- the way she forgets to mention some crucial information to the crew. Am I the only one questioning why Luffy didn't just stretch his arms out to catch one of the birds? The birds were right there! LOL @ the camel. Overall, it's an okay ep. |
