| Nice episode! One thing I gotta praise White Fox for is the animation quality, very solid and well detailed. The part when Tatsumi mentioned about about a Teigu resurrecting people and everyone got all serious was very well done animation-wise. And I find strange that Sayo and Ieyasu are still appearing. I do like them but they died at episode 1 and is episode 5 now, more than for them to be gone. Kinda surprised to see the northern dude getting defeated so easily. When Najenda talked about him I though he would be a really strong character that would be introduced much later and play a huge part in the story but... seeing him appearing and getting defeated so fast is kinda sad. =( And it seems next episode the real deal will finally start eh? Good, was getting kinda tired of the "villain of the week" format. Sense something important coming up. |

| My god, even though it is comedy-action, its so violent and dark in here; Sheeles past seems fuc*ed up, Esdese is beyond powerful and sadist, and Seryu dragging her Koro on the streets, WTF.... Yeah I'm going to enjoy this anime throughout the season. So eager to read the Manga, like I did from Shingeki no Kyojin. Well even though I got spoiled already for next weeks episode. Never read comments next time Next week episode, I'm expecting a lot of action there. |

Episode 5! Esdese is finally here! OMG!!!!!!!! Hell yes! Seriously, they did a great job this episode. It was 1.5 chapters and I didn't expect them to fit the beginning of the Leone scene in this episode. We also finally got to meet Seryu and we're now seeing the dynamic of the bad guys. They're all not super villains that just want to kill and rape everyone as we see with Seryu:  Also Sheele is one of my favorites, they did some major justice with her backstory this episode. It was well done and Tatsumi crying for his friends was very touching. It was very nice that Sheele comforted him.  Anyways, get ready for an epic fight next week. Seryu has got to be one of the coolest fighters in the series in terms of her skills and what's up her sleeves. |

| so esdeath is the character that seems to be popular going by how many people have her as an avatar. seems to be just another cliche super evil sadist. character design is cool though and as expected the imperial army girl that tatsumi met turns out to be just another psycho going by the preview, also going by what i read about the series beforehand without any prior knowledge my guess |

| The fact that the episode started with a conversation between Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu was really heartwarming and sad at the same time since they had to say goodbye, because they shouldn't linger around anymore and pass on due to Tatsuya making new friends and being in good hands. T.T Awwww, Sheele was really cute when she woke up and her glasses fell off :3 Indeed, Night Raid women are all carnivorous XD. Poor Sheele had a sad childhood because of her clumsiness and it seems killing was rather easy and natural to her, a natural born killer huh... Bulat's entry was priceless XD. LOOOOL, the last unknown ability is the best ability in the world! So a scary and powerful girl has the ice Imperial Arms and is using it to conquer the Northern race that wanted to attack the Capital huh. Tatsuya's face when they told him that there's no Imperial Arms that can help him resurrect Sayo and Ieyasu was really sad... Awww, Sheele comforted Tatsumi :3 Um... yeah... one year they said... it seems like the citizens have been impaled and the Hero turned into her lovely masochistic pet by Esdeath... Of course... Leone just had to bring trouble with her XD. Seeing the little lord and the prime minister made me feel sick... Awww, a cute girl named Seryu of the imperial police with a funny Imperial Arms (from that book) appeared to help poor Tatsumi that got lost while running away from the debt collectors. Ah, so Seryu was rather fond of her master Ogre and wants to find Night Raid and the person that killed him... well you missed him hmm. I guess there's going to be a Tatsumi vs Seryu fight sooner or later. Seryu's face in the preview was freaking spooky... and it seems I was right about them fighting even though it was sooner XD. |

| This episode was mostly boring <_< I don't know but I just couldn't feel anything with the characters or their back stories at all. And again they over glorify the new woman general villain character in terms of strength and being evil. She seemed interesting though so hopefully she's at least entertaining unlike the previous cartoon villains. I had hope this show was improving after last week's episode but this episode was a little disappointing 2.5/5 |
