DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought the OP song was alright although I preferred the first season's Op song better. It was great seeing everyone back though. Looks like they changed the OST somewhat but didn't waste any time with the swimming part, nice. Gou was pretty fun to watch. It's funny how the guys just take their clothes off on stage though LOL. Oh Free is back. I think this is going to be a fun summer. HOLY SHIT, that ED song is awesome. Firemen, merman, etc. ahahaha |

| I think I like this OP bit more than the first season (though still not liking the style). Winter. Feeling nostalgic from some scenes from first season, but somewhat different. Free relay and they lost. Red hair guy's named for next captain. Recruiting new members. lol~ @ the intro. Nice, the pool is safe, though still kind of broken. Competition. Wow, the two got 1sts! Sakura pool, but the weather is bad. Clean up without using it... That new guy transferring to red hair guy's class. This ED is cute. Personally liking the first season's ED more. lol @ Merman Haru!! (even though space Nagi is also lol). Imagination of their future professions? Revealing how "sugoi" is this "sugoi" new member next. |

| I won't lie to myself, i kinda missed Free!, and it's nice to see it back.Opening is nice (edit. it's awesome after listening to it 5+ times, lol), although i prefer first season's one more - as some others i noticed. Their club presentation...lol'd so bad.Gou's ideas are brilliant as ever. About ED...no comment. |

| Man, I love you KyoAni for introducing Gou right beside Makoto in the OP! Guess they saw how popular MakoGou is (Though MakoHaru And SeiGou is even popular but I don't care) The new OP is a bit generic but good kinda generic. The intro was so much like season 1's. The OST was pretty cool. Glad Rin is over his teen angst. Man, I missed Gou so much! Yeah believe in your girl, Makoto. So they are third years already... Nagisa's Rin impersonation was nice. "Can't be helped so I will let you swin in it once." xD Is it just me or there is too much focus on ReiGou? Like it is the least popular of all Gou shippings so I didn't expect so many interactions... There's HaruGou as well. The new ending is really addicting. I wish they could fit in some Gou though. I mean she is part of main team in a way, kinda unfair... Great start. |

| i'm glad that this show is back. the 1st episode was great and the ost is just as brilliant as last season's. rin's character development was really well done. it seems like haru is starting to become competitive and doesn't not care anymore. the new character seems interesting. i'm curious to see how he'll stir things up. hopefully mikoshiba will be back though. looking forward to watching more |

| This really started airing on the right day, I always feel depressed after going to the dentist. Save me again in 3 weeks plz Rei, Rin, Mikoshiba so cute <333 This episode felt a little rushed, like they wanted to hurry through this stuff and introduce the new dude, but it was still highly enjoyable. I really love the opening. It looks like Rin's relay team won't be filled with complete nobodies. The ending song....I was a little weirded out at first by the randomness and dancing, but when they showed it was their imagination as kids I just had to d'awww |

| Beyond excited for the next episode. Especially for more to be revealed about the transfer student, i agree that he may have been from Australia with Rin. I love the new OP and ED, brings the charm of Free! back with a twist. The show is funny as ever and i love the parallels. I just cant wait, thats all i have to say. |

| Ya that was a great first episode. OP is better than S1 but can't beat that S1 ED...still pretty good. Gou-chan is still fucking cute as all hell. Glad the guys are back. Really enjoyed the relay at the beginning. Hope we see some more racing this time. Excited! |

| I think I noticed a subtle change in Rei's characterization - he said that he doesn't swim ("oyoganai") anything but Butterfly, whereas in the first season he said that he can't swim ("oyogenai") anything else. Back then it was a bit of an ironic echo of Haruka's catchphrase and a joke at Rei's expense, but could it mean that now he actually can swim in other styles, but chooses to specialize in Butterfly? Also, is it just me, or did Gou's character become more one-dimensional in this episode? I think she only said like two lines that didn't have anything to do with her muscle fetish. |
| Gou-chan oh how I missed your cuteness. <3 Good starting episode, nice OP and ED but I really did prefer season 1's for some reason, especially the ending. Judging from the OP, looks like rivalry within relays with Rin's new team including this Sousuke fellow (can't stop thinking about Aizen). IIRC from a preview Sousuke was Rin's Australian buddy when they were younger.. I love the Free! previews because they speak freely I still remember "All out, All out, All out, All out. Perfect Body" . |

| It was a lovely first episode. I think I'll like Rin ten times more this season because he doesn't seem so aggressive as he was the did the first season. I'm really looking forward to see what the new guy has to offer as well. The animation was amazeballs, the ending was cute and Haru's hairflip gave me life. 9/10 |

| OMG, that new ending song is just perfect. (>▽<)/ Rin was really hot in that uniform, I think that I'm actually going to like him now, I almost hated him on first season. Nice first episode, I really enjoyed it. Hopefully this is going to be even better than the first season. |
