| I've seen the Live Action and, whilst being very faithful to the manga, it seem to have toned down most of the wacky dialogues and bizarre antics as shown frequently in the manga, so it just ended up being a rather bland J-Drama all around. Really hope this OVA, however short it is, will do the manga more justice. |

| Disappointed it's only an OVA. This series deserves a full-fledged adaptation for its first arc. Have been waiting for so long already... That probably also means we won't get an anime "any time soon", at least not until the OVA is out of the way. Looking forward to it anyway. And definitely a lot better than nothing. |
| That was a hilarious announcement! Having the main cast of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan racking up view counts and then having the classic straight man response when it wasn't an anime about them but the mangaka's newer series. That got a few chuckles out of me. |
