Probably my favorite anime scene ever.
I don't think many people here watched 129 freaking episodes of Detective Conan.
But this scene holds such a special place in my heart

Ai Haibara's true identity reveal? Or what? If it is, then yeah i agree, it's a really great scene.

Yup, I just didn't want to spoil anything and leave it for the people who'll get it.
I'm glad that you know it BTW.

Well yeah i used to grow up watching this and reading the manga, that scene is kinda early so it's easy to binge the manga up to that scene.

Anyway, you're at episode 600. Wait until the best arc few more episodes later.

My personal favorite scene is from Bakemonogatari, that wholesome scene

Damn you're right man. Read the novels of Bake a few days ago, and the buildup and climax to that scene were just as beautiful. Bakemonogatari does work really well as a completed story (as Nisio Isin mentions in the aftwerword).
Don't mind me,

Can't pick one, but a few :

Reiner/Bertholdt Reveal, and Erwin's Speech from Attack on Titan S2 and S3.

Berserker v Saber fight from Fate : Heaven's Feel.

The parasol scene from Violet Evergarden.

Both MC's meeting at the top of the crater in Kimi No Na Wa.

The end of Episode 15 of Re:Zero S1 when the credits roll. Tarantino-esque grindhouse quality about that scene.

The best scenes for me are usually the endings but also parody scenes can be funny like gintama has a lot. Iconic scenes from the classics like first time goku went super saiyan, gohan defeating cell, gons transformation, aces death, rock lee vs gaara, itachi vs sasuke, etc... Personally my favourite scenes though were the ending of basilisk and ending of gungrave.

For some reason I just think the death scenes are the most memorable and emotional

The train scene from Spirited away is the one to which I have returned most of the time in the last decade, sometimes just to listen to its dreamlike background music (The sixth station by Joe Hisaishi), other times to meditate on the feelings and associations it evokes, because besides the obvious ones, which all of us share when watching it (and I could go on and on about those), there have been such elusive emotions that I couldn't even give name to.
One of those is evoked by the passing by of this scenery:

It has been more then a decade since I first saw this image but it was only last week that I found out that the word "yugen" is the closest one by which the feeling that it gives rise to, can be described. I had heard about this word and the aesthetic concept it means, but my knowledge of it didn't go beyond the definition given by the wikipedia:

"Yūgen suggests that which is beyond what can be said, but it is not an allusion to another world. It is about this world, this experience. All of these are portals to yūgen:

"To watch the sun sink behind a flower clad hill.

To wander on in a huge forest without thought of return. To stand upon the shore and gaze after a boat that disappears behind distant islands. To contemplate the flight of wild geese seen and lost among the clouds.

And, subtle shadows of bamboo on bamboo." Zeami Motokiyo"

I was reading Zeami and the transition of the concept of Yugen: A note on japanese aesthetics by Andrew A. Tsuvaki the last week when this passing by scenery popped up in my mind and I had a kind of revelation "this is it!".

Myazaki meant this train scene only as a "Ma", a scene of silence, a breathing place between actions, but actually this scene became the heart of the whole anime. At least to me.
