Note: Not saying you need to agree with me; I even have friends who disagree with me because they did feel an emotional impact from the characters, for example. This is simply my own opinion on the show. Maybe I didn't watch it properly, one way or another, but so be it, it is what it is.

In short:

* Storytelling was dry and wordy. There was much explaining things in words as opposed to showing them (Kyubey is probably to blame for a good amount of the wordiness).
* Too little time to get to know the characters and setting, and too few "humanizing moments" to understand them, before stuff happened, so the meaning of tragic events was not clear, even when the action was. Little to no emotional connection established for characters whose fates we're supposed to be shocked/horrified by.
* ...This in turn made it seem like these events happened more for shock value,
* ...which in turn made it seem that the storytelling relied too heavily on the viewer presuming certain things about the show/genre in order to be surprised when they're subverted.
* Possibly inconsistent setting rules, e.g. on what can/cannot be a wish, and the role of magical potential.
* What felt like moving the goalposts in order to cause one certain character to fail in her efforts, in order to force a certain outcome to the story.
* Ending is just nuts. It kinda works, "intellectually", but feels inconsistent with the tone of the rest of the story, not to mention various possible unfortunate implications.
* This particular style of trippy visuals didn't help immerse me in the story; it sorta did the opposite, unfortunately.

I would have found the show relatively boring and unremarkable, if not for the fact that I felt that the course of the story treated one character very, very unfairly, which caused me to strongly dislike it, despite also strongly liking said character.

If you don't mind spoilers for Uta~Kata (or Madoka Magica, obviously), here's my blogpost about it, partly in response to a video comparing the two shows. https://myanimelist.net/blog.php?eid=809725#comment (I've linked the comment I appended there, because it might be a better summary of my opinion on MadoMagi than the blogpost itself which addresses the differences between the two.

If you don't want spoilers for that show, here is someone else's review of Madoka Magica that largely, though not completely, agrees with my opinion. Particularly, the criticism of the show's pacing causing it to feel like a "forced melodrama" rather than giving time to connect to the characters, the "over-reliance" on shock value and plot twists, the seemingly forced tragic events wherein characters were set up to fail, and the ending that had a tone inconsistent with the rest of the story.

Honestly your English is perfectly fine, if you hadn’t told me I’d assume it was just typing errors.
When it comes to Fate/Zero the most interesting part of the story was the characters, their motivations, and their ideals. Even if they were a bit standard (although when the story was first created the cliches weren’t yet established) the characters make a lot of sense and their development is very logical. One of the greatest examples is the Banquet of Kings which is one of the most iconic moments of the series.

Let me ask this: What would have made it not boring for you?

What made the anime boring for you?

Personally I never understood the criticism of “it’s predictable” very much. I don’t really think that having plot twists everywhere makes for a compelling narrative and I’ve preferred Urobuchi’s style of basically telegraphing when something bad is going to happen yet still making it poignant since I discovered the man
