| it was odd to see Gurren Lagann web drill swing around. but the airfingths were interesting and kinda cool I'm digging Nia's new look. I knew from the start her cooking wasn't going to turn out good, though I was surprised that Simon legitimately seemed to like it. I was waiting to for Viral to find out Kamina is worm food and i liked that he refused to win by playing dirty. Wish the Spiral King would have revealed the answers to him before the end of the episode though! |
| Good episode, the sky gunman fortress was pretty cool. Simon being the one person to like Nia's cooking was pretty funny. Great battle animations again. And interesting stuff at the end with Viral and The Spiral King - what are humans? Hopefully the rest of that talk is shown or explained soon. |
| Viral confirmed to be the most honorable. I like that about him. Some cool action scenes. That last scene with Viral and the Spiral King was very interesting. The title fo the next episode is "Well met, everyone." I have a bad feeling about this. |

| After watching this episode, I get the feeling that Viral will turn into a good guy or something. Liked how the Dai-gurren kicked the enemy's ship even though they knew that Simon, Yoko, and Boota were on it. Nia totally reminds me of Kobato... |

| This episode was great, the fact that GL can absorb Ganmen seemed a little bit convinient for me, but Laggan can already combine so it doesn't bother me too much. I was surprised to know that Viral didn't know about Kamina, this seems like a very important factor in his character arc and I guess he'll ally the GB later in the series. The part with Roshiu was pretty funny too. I'm really hyped for next episode! |

| YES here we go. Finally, this is what I've been waiting for since episode 1. I'll be honest, I didn't really think Yoko x Simon would happen, but I'm glad that they're finally starting to hint at it :) :) :) Also, this is the Simon I've been waiting for since episode 1 as well. No more wimpy, cowardly, emo Simon, but now we got a cool, badass Simon C: Looking forward to seeing how he'll progress from here on out. Also, I hope he continues to pilot Gurren Lagann with Yoko. She'd probably be way better than that other guy, whatever his name was, Rossiu or something like that haha. |

| The fighting was insane! The raw airpower should've sunk them in time if they sniped them for long enough. But this is gainax we're talking about, off course a flying kick would've done the job! This was an awesome episode overall, and quirky as hell, if you took away all the insanity you'd be left with a Helicarrier vs a grounded Space Battleship Yamato. |

| They got absolutely bombarded there, it was looking bad for a little while. I reckon Simon & Yoko made a pretty good team, they even got wings now. Lol @ Simon having guts of iron, everyone else is going to get sick from Nia's cooking. I wonder what it is the king will show Viral? |

| Boota you lucky little rodent, diving into Yoko's boobs and making her like it... Using the drills to move in the air is absurdly awesome and they even got wings! That flying fortress kick was so badass ♥ Viral's dignity just can't take a break sheesh Nia looks a little like a reverse trap now. I expected her food to be a little bit better but at least Simon likes it lol |

| The sky battles rocked. There is some interesting dynamic between Yoko Simon and Nia. I kinda like it. I'm not sure it romance between the three of them, but its something And Viral is really coming around for me. |

| It's funny how Viral is a more interesting antagonist with some pieces of personality and nobility then the "main" antagonists (the 4 generals, that is). I hope he'll be developed more as a character. |

| I'm really loving Viral so far. He must have felt sad too when he found out that Kamina was dead :'( That smooth animation when Simon and Yoko were talking tho!! And I almost died laughing at the last part lol. Simon and Boota were so cute!! :3 And seems like we'll finally get to know about what Humans and Beastmen are(?) 5/5 |

| It's good to know that Simon has become his own character after Kamina died and in rare form as well. The sky battle was pretty neat I'm not gonna lie. Looks like Viral is also developing as a character not only was his fight with Simon cool, but he won't kill him even ordered is because he has a code of honour. Rather than have the fight be quick and painless, he'd rather have a fair fight essentially which is what I like about him. The scene where Yoko tells Simon that she had a thing for Kamina was pretty sweet. And as for Nia? Well she maybe cute but I don't think her cooking is all that's cracked up to be. XD Otherwise a pretty kickass episode there. Great action and comedy, just great all around. |
