Ok, Kaori was disturbing in many scenes. It's was funny when the fortune teller just showed up out of blue lmao. I'm glad that Watashi is now starting to control the timeline.

I guess the next episode will be the same but this time it will show Keiko.

Okay, things about last episode was explained. Well, I really thought this is a lonely episode, a good explanation that Jougasaki is a really lonely person. Just glad that the mc realized that the path he take was wrong after Jougasaki came. A really fun episode, more powerful than Hanuki's part last episode. I am expecting Keiko's part in the next episode. Well, I noticed that the circle part was getting shorter, but then this is a great continuation for the episode 6 which is nice.

This ep is basically in the same timeline (?) as the previous ep, but the attention is shifted to Kaori. Not saying that it's any less entertaining, but last ep's quality is just hard to beat.

Damn 10000+ yen (around 100 USD) per session bodyguarding a sex doll is one amazing job. That is... Until the moment Watashi became delusional and started to think she could talk... (It's himself) Watashi can splurge his money and spend his time with Kaori until she's taken away. Which I see as Ozu saving Watashi from going a bizarre path.

This was… ok. I’m hoping there’s more to this anime than just watashi trying to figure out which waifu he likes best. I’ve seen enough of those storylines (as “deep” and artistic as the style/story-telling method is in comparison to other anime, I’ll be disappointed if it doesn’t have any other message)

Has anyone notice that Kaori is also voiced by Watashi? I thought that was really intelligent of the show and of Yuasa.

I really liked that.^

This episode was a little disturbing, but in a good way, I guess. I enjoyed a lot the little dark twists.
I also think that Keiko might be Ozu.
Cant wait to see more of Akashi, though.

Kaori and Watashi never match. Poor Johnny, never get a chance. Still, whatever you do, just do, goddamn it, Watashi. Stop being a dick!

The scenes when Watashi in costum save Akashi was nice, need more of them in the mean time.

I am almost dying to watch this anime. This is too much as a shit. I just don't understand the plot. Like the mc just keep blabbering in bullet-speed. Same story is happening in different way. Is there any twist? i am struggling with this anime for almost 2 months.

LOL, that fortune teller is just straight up stealing his money now.

This was a weak episode. Not as funny as the last one or as interesting. But it did get a bit dark towards the end, with Watashi succumbing to his desires.

Did he...just fall in love with a doll?
Well that was very odd and it felt pointless cuz there was no development in Watashi. It does feel funny seeing Jougasaki calling someone a sick bastard when he's one too.

I am sure that Keiko isn't gonna be what she seems to be.

Was never going to be able to live up to the last episode, and I'd be lying if I said it was one of my favourites, but this was still a great episode.

Kaori is certainly a low point for Watashi, his fawning over her and trying to run away with her is, well, sad and pathetic. But I find it pretty interesting what she represents, a sort of idyllic perfection, a raven-haired maiden that doesn't inherently come with any complication (relationship with Jougasaki aside, but more on that later). She's an easy vehicle for his fantasies, and that's what he's attracted to. Compared to Keiko, a girl that he avoids, that he saves for last, specifically because he presented towards her a fantasy version of himself that he can't deliver. He says she's surely his ideal woman, but he has to live up to his part, which is not really true with Kaori. As Ston3_FreeN7 said, he was taking the easy route.

But beyond that, it strikes me that Keiko is his last choice for another reason, I think Watashi has a hero complex. Perhaps it goes hand to hand with his demonizing of Ozu (though that's getting less pronounced), Hanuki was his first choice because he immediately perceived danger to her as imminent. And here before runs away, he imagines Kaori talk about how Jougasaki would make her different person if he loved her once me, to "Please take me with you and escape." That in part relates to his own struggles dealing with relationships, but it also pushes him as a hero out the situation, with Keiko, that's not an option. And what really brought this to my forefront, was Akashi's appearance here, at the beginning of the episode where he does go to save her, though nothing outside of a bow happens.

I'm really appreciating the different approach of these episodes. Getting other pieces of this loop through each end choice his makes, makes it more of a direct puzzle piece to figure out. Interested to see what the deal with Keiko ends up being. I don't really see it ending up being Akashi, though Ozu wouldn't surprise me lol (seeing regular face Ozu was odd). Kinda hope it's neither but I'll find out soon enough. It's also been interesting to see Watashi gain more control over the loops themselves.

Wasn't a big fan of this episode tbh, it felt odd and pointless. So the next episode will be about the letter girl and I'm guessing the episodes after that will be about Akashi.

Damn, he actually got rewinded only a few hours back. Back into the toilet only to leave Hanuki-san.

Now he worked as a bodyguard for Jougasaki's sex doll, Kaori. And that's how it ended up in his place.

My man's narrating a literal fanfic with a fricking love doll.

Looks like now he'll try out his chances with Keiko-san.
