The atmosphere is on point, the show always keeps me guessing about which and how future plot develoments will unfold, and overall I find myself enjoying the ride a lot more than I would've initially expected. Granted, all those positive impressions could come crashing down real fast if the show fails to live up to them and keep my interest when shit finally goes down, but for now I'm hopeful. | I finally got back to ep2 of Hellsing Ultimate, and it's still badass AF There was that brief flashback/dream at the beginning that made me hope for a different kind of series, though. Like, a sort of epic generation-spanning tale centered around Alucard, instead of a pure action show. Or something along the lines of Gankutsuou, maybe. |

| Welp it finally happened, sesuji wo pin got cancelled. The shitty thing is despite the previous arc being an excellent finale to the series and wrapping up so much, it basically means the manga ends with focus being put on supporting characters over the protagonists in the final stretch well this is depressing but expected, twas a great manga none the less though its a damn shame its not even gonna have a proper finale rushed or not since it seems like its over next issue. Still highly recommend it to peeps |

I mean i said it before, but the recent arc was so good i was actually ok with it getting canceled as apposed to before cause now it has a real pay off to the whole thing. Itd a damn shame its not going on cause it had even more potential with how wide and varied its cast was and how well developed all the relationships were and would develop but as it stands, it does have a proper finale to the whole series all things considered even if the 2 main protagonists do kind of get jipped of the spotlight. Really all i need to be ok with it is for the final 2 chapters to be a good epilogue and conclude the romances. |

Im going through a 2nd playthrough on madhouse diffulcty and its already improving my high opinion of it cause it adds so many cool little surprises that fuck with your expectations from what you think will happen due to the first playthrough. Also if you like the ink ribbon system madhouse adds thst for saves. |

Alot is kind of riding on square and capcom for more higher budget japanese games in general. Thankfully both companies seem to be turning around from their previously poor standing. Resident evil 7 looks phenomenal graphically, there is so much attention to detail abd its use of dynamic shadowing really makes every area look great in the most disgusting ways possible, unfortunately lip sync is kind of poor. |
