| Hibike will probably be 1 cour, but I don't think it's been confirmed. DEEN adapting an otome game can only end well, don't worry about it. And next season we get Prison School and Non Non Biyori, so stow your pessimism it's going to be an amazing season. |

Game of Laplace which could be interesting or complete trash. Then of course there is stuff that probably won't be good but I'll be watching for top lel like Charlotte, God Eater, and Chaos Dragon. Can't wait for all of the salt over God Eater that will inevitably come because one of the more respected directors is working on it. |

Feaor said: i read some of the manga, its really disappointing honestly, theres a cool kind of psychological aspect to it but its nothing short of sloppy in how it changes tone from cute girls doing cute things to trauma and horror, its one of those series that tries to keep both going at the same time and it just doesnt work, there are points it should be going full serious or full SOL but it can never make up its mind and stick with it undermining both tones. It also banks really heavily on a early twist in the first few chapters and generally just feels like it floating about from there on out not really knowing what it wants to make of itself nor how its characters really react to the twist. The main character has an interesting predicament she is in that has potential but like most of the story it ultimately feels pretty unrealized and for a lack of a better word, mediocre. I can definitely see it finding some audience out there but it really tries way too hard to get feels out of the viewer for its own good. The best way to describe it is imagine something like hidamari sketch except they decide to throw in zombies and it just jumps back and forth between 4 koma comedy manga and a survival manga sometimes juggling both at once.There is also Gakkou Gurashi which I've heard is actually quite good and its cute girls suffering and killing zombies with shovels. Id say the best part of it is merely its concepts and ideas more so than its actual execution. |

And im way more forgiving on these types of manga than other stuff cause i really go in for the stupid fun and if i get something of substance hey thats a plus, but it just didnt have either and felt like a huge waste of time. It sucks when you can see the good story hidden away inside itself but the series is just so far from actually achieving it. Well I'm still cautiously hyped for it, I think it will be entertaining regardless. If you keep your expectations low youll maybe be pleasantly surprised but just dont let some of the interesting concepts fool at the start set your expectations up too high, i think i made that mistake myself cause i was really into the first few chapters even with the awkward as fuck comedy but it loses itself so fast. |

| just watched a fantastic movie called dead man's shoes, it was a really intense revenge story and got pretty fucked up too but in a way that wasnt grimdark. But i swear to god this is the only film ive ever seen in my native language that i needed to turn subtitles on, the accents and slang be strong in this one. Though acting was fantastic and its done in this almost ad libbed like execution that really does sound like normal people talking for the most part, but the downside is like real people conversations move fast and can talk over eachother which combined with the strong accents and slang makes it really necessary for people not used to it to put subtitles on. Still great movie |

| I just dreamt that Tomino became my English teacher and that he was a really good guy, he made some funny jokes and we talked a bit. He died the next day, and that made me go into panic and despair for a really long time (can't measure dreamtime), and that meant that no more chapters of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure would be released. I remember thinking "Fuck, now JoJolion will be unfinished forever". Guess which series I've been thinking about recently. I haven't had an anime dream in a long time @_@ |
