| Finally an episode that felt like the old school Gintama tonally. Eps like these really encapsulate just the absolute best of what this series is. Hilarious jokes mixed in with some heartfelt moments and an overall really strong message. Just an all around great episode |

| Matsudaira and Maid Ezuroka? I fucking love Katsura. Funny how he revealed himself in the beginning. This new combination is genius. Love Matsu's sense of humor and his accent is just brilliant. Katsura with his ''poop and ice cream'' program was hilarious. Seems like he knew who he was since the beginning. A kind of friendship that you really can't call a friendship.. EPIC EPISODE! |

| Gintama seems to be obsessed with shit lately. |
| Great as expected Katsura is such a beautiful man all around that he can be easily crossdress without being discovered (...or not?) Unless... he falls into his broken record words (...or not?) Matsudaira never, ever wastes his screentime. Even when he's already heavily into a Die Hard first film parody, he still can't avoid talking out loud on the phone with his favorite escort at the club and telling her how much she's missed. And if it seems too weird having Shinsengumi and Joui members collaborate, uhm, yeah, there it is... he's depicted as the top of a ice cream cone. And after everything is solved, he straight up tells Katsura he always knew it was him but is thankful enough to avoid arresting him. Class act. |
