It's also problematic when sometimes you think someone is main, but MAL thinks different. I also met a case where the anime has much less main characters than the mange. To help Joker Game (Do yourself a favour and watch the 2 first episodes at the end, I hated to learn the main character there won't return to the anime later). I guess there are more... but I can't think of any :( |

| So I've only got 7 items left but since starting college this month, I've barely had the energy or concentration to watch TV anime (12 eps+) and have been trying to limit it to shorter items (usually 1 episode OVAs/shorts/specials). I'm looking for recommendations for the shortest anime that can fulfil these requirements (they must be at least 16+ minutes total per item though, as according to the requirements). Also, I was wondering if we're allowed to change items that we've already started/have been recommended to us (example: I was recommended Ristorante Paradiso by a challenge staff member for item 102 (Watch an anime recommended to you by a challenge staff member) and I really don't want to keep watching it). I know it's kind of immature since I've watched tons of shit I couldn't stand, but as it's nearing the end of the challenge period, I'm afraid it'll put me off the challenge and I won't have the time to finish it. Also, would you mind explaining why challenge #80 states you're allowed to ignore anime that require prequels while when I submitted my form I was told that was incorrect and you're not allowed to ignore prequel requiring anime? Is "required" just subjective at this point since a lot of people watch second seasons to stuff without watching the first season just because the second season is airing or is there something else I'm missing here? |

There is a ranked list of genres there and you have to use the top one and the last one. It’s based on scores you’ve given. 100 Mo Dao Zu Shi is pretty awesome! It’s currently airing but it should be finishing up before the turn in date. Tbh I wouldn’t know it had this tag just from watching it. Highly recommend! 92 Mars of Destruction. It’s a single ep but it’s run time is long enough for the requirement. It’s bad but it’s so bad it’s funny. 85. R.O.D. (Read or Die OVA) has four eps and they’re all about 35 minutes long. It’s a good time. 34. Angel’s Egg. I discovered this thru the challenge and I think it’s an underrated masterpiece tbh. 10/10 37 or 71 Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan (the Psi part is the symbol if you look it up). It has a short run time & plenty of eps. Use for either 37 or 71. 65 Redline is a cool movie about a car race. 72 Eve no Jikan (movie) or Ergo Proxy. |

Is "required" just subjective at this point since a lot of people watch second seasons to stuff without watching the first season just because the second season is airing or is there something else I'm missing here? I wonder also now, when is it required to watch a prequel? I was recommended "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works" for the visual novel challenge (12) but loads of people say the others are needed to fully be able to understand Unlimited Blade Works. Does that mean I'll have to watch something else instead because I haven't watched the "other" Fate series? |

| Item Nr. 107: Finish an On-Hold or Dropped Anime It states use any title that was started during or before July, 2017 and left unwatched; state the original start date and how many episode were previously watched; the anime can't have just one episode; the anime doesn't need to be on your on-hold/dropped list. Use any that you previously started watching and left without finishing for the longest. There was one show I started in July 2017 and dropped it on August 2nd 2017 on episode 3. Would that be a valid choice? |

I wasn't sure if only the start date was really relevant here, or if I also had to have stopped watched during or before July 2017. On another note; Do you have a recommendation for me for item Nr. 27? I'm pretty much open for anything, I'd just prefer if it didn't have more than 26 episodes for now. |
