| Well its different for everyone so its kind of hard to say. For ME: 76/456 were 8/10 (very good) 10/456 were 9/10 (amazing/great) 3/456 were 10/10 (masterpiece) Total: 89 very good anime Don't get me wrong though, I love my 7s. Ive seen a lot of "good" anime, but only 89 were very good or above. |

| Well depending on the series, it can either be a 8 or a 9, since I rate based on enjoyment + the features of said series. 8 anime wise, approximately 18.93% (71 of 375) 8 manga wise, approximately 14.38% (21 of 146) 9 anime wise, approximately 7.11% (20 of 281) 9 manga wise, approximately 7.53% (11 of 146) Of course those are only estimates, though. |

| Looking through my full list, I count 74 total 9s or above, out of over 1420 total titles (including ones I haven't added yet). This gives an average of about 5.2% managing this. Though, a couple of those could be revised down at some point . . . As for 10s, that's a whopping 6, for an astoundingly low 0.42%. |
| MALgraph says it's 44 shows I've rated with a 9, and 9 of them that I've rated with a 10, so that would make 53 shows in my case, with my rating average being 5.68. And I estimate that there will be at least another 30 shows that will fill the criteria of being "great", though I think the show's I've rated with 8's and 7's were also quite worth the while. |

| tx for the legit answers guys. to those still poking me, i did state, twice i think, that i realize this will be a completely subjective assessment. that doesn't mean opinions don't matter. and if you truly think that school days or clannad are epic masterpieces, then go on wit yo bad self! but i rather hear about how many shows you've seen and how many you truly love. ^^ |
| Hi, I am an easily entertained individual. And taking that into account, it seems my ratio of shows I find great (9 or 10) is around the 29% (92 entries out of 317). I don't know what does that say about me, but it's just how it is. |

| the thing is, when i joined this board it made me feel like i wasn't a real fan or something b/c my watched list is so small. Granted, I've forgotten a lot of the old stuff, but still. I guess I started this thread b/c I've recently begun to realize that there are simply a finite number of anime I might rate 8 or above, and that I wanted to seek them out first if I possible. i do watch weird junk from time to time, but I've dropped more than are on my list. frankly my lists blow. perhaps i'll clean them up if i have a slow afternoon. |
| I give bad shows good ratings because I like them. I give good shows bad ratings because I dislike them. Depending on who you are, nobody can really recommend you a great anime because what holds true for them may not be your case, unless you can nitpick away at all the different shows and decide that the perfect anime MUST have all these things. For example, I hate fan service, Highschool DxD is an 8, I gave it a 5, something pretty average to be honest. But while I don't like it, you might. There's no way of telling whether or not you like a show unless you yourself watch it. |

| Well I try to use the whole 1-10 scale, so I can easily use the Mal numeric value for great 8/10 soo.. let me add it up I got 14 8/10 8.05% , 10 9/10 5.75% and I got 6 10/10 3.45% So in total 17.25% of the Anime I have watched I thought I was Great or even better. Which I think is probably a lot lower than the average. |
